When I retired (18 years ago this March 31st  ) I was still using Lotus 123 at work, everyone else had moved to Excell, and I had an, even if I do say so myself, all singing, all dancing stash spreadsheet. Unfortunately it eventualy became impossible to maintain so as I've never really got to grips with Excell as a spreadsheet package, other than a very simplistic one, I moved to something much simpler, even if maintenance can still be an issue. It's called memory V.52  ;)  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

'This calls for a Spreadsheet!' A statement to gladden the heart/ledger book of any accountant/etc  ;)

I built my spreadsheet on Excell and then ported it over to LibreOffice when mirco$oft bugged me too much.
I'm pretty sure 99% of the stash is listed but i've not always delisted them when i've built them or kitbashed with them.
When one whiffs keeping up a spreadsheet is more complicated than if one just build them OOB as one needs to record kits that are now fit only for parts or further whiffing.
I write whats missing on the end of the boxes with texter which should help with the stocktake.
However, it can wait as I have stuff to finish first.

Delta got a coat of clear over the transfers.  Nice and shiny.
And I finished off the transfers on the body of the Dodge.  I just have to do those on the rear windows.  I like to put these on the inside using decal glue as I find this gives the most lifelike appearance.

Mine resets at the most random of intervals... then the older data pops up again at other random intervals... usually when I can't jot it down.

Maybe you need to be turned off and on again?

I've heard reincarnation is all the rage in some circles.

Not sure I have a burning desire to try it just yet, though.  ;)

Once around is enough for me. Onward to bigger and better.

I use open office for my stocktake. Each sheet is country of origin, then split into manufacturer. For Whifs, I simply have a section next to the model saying what's happening to it :)
As each one gets started, it's highlighted yellow, then becomes green once completed.

No modelling all weekend.
Mrs z's Nephew got married.  He is a Ranger at Werribee Open Range Zoo and the ceremony was held there after hours.
We had a tour of the animals on the safari buses and then the happy couple said their vows in front of a pool where a pair of elephant calves were frolicking while the adult elephants were bribed with lettuces to hang out behind them.  The cafe area next to the elephants pool is new and this was the first wedding to be held there.  I think it's going to be a very popular venue.
Rather than a wedding cake there was a table groaning with doughnuts.  Excellent.

Two nights in a motel, drank, ate and caught up with almost all of the extended 'strayan family.  A good weekend.  Now I need a rest.

Sounds absolutely brilliant Fred - nothing beats a frollicking Elephant calf, I remember a few in Kenya  ;D

All the best to the happy couple

They are both massive nerds (their words).  He Warhammers and they both Lego.  He used to model as a kid (who didn't?) and a year or so ago gave me a box full of his and his two brothers 1/72 builds for recycling into whiffs,
At the wedding they had boxes of minifigure bits on a table and each guest was encouraged to build a representation of themselves to sit in a huge fame above their name.

Agree with all of that.

And the Minifigs are a cute idea.

I maintain that everyone is a Nerd - it's just what spins your wheels; models, sports, cars, whatever.
But expressing that opinion in some venues can lead to hurt...  ;D
