You can send them to me and I'll happily get something with them for you and put it in the post at cost (note that "cost" includes the £5.95 to get it from Airfix to me and whatever it costs to send it to you).

Alternatively, you can donate them to the Models For Heroes charity if you want. Again, send them to me and I'll organise it.

My thoughts exactly, but maybe the Airfix one is a higher level of techiness these days?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The Italeri UH-34 kit was released in 1996, the Wessex version in 1997. It's not at all surprising that Airfix would see that the market would support a new kit to current standards.

It would be more impressive if it was XR505 in full Uruguayan colours rather than the RAF paint scheme.

With Series 4 kits, you normally get two markings options so it's a bonus scheme.

Of course I had to go and google them in Uruguay service. Some had a funky radar nose as well.

Not quite, Mark 1 did a 1/144 scale version sometime between 2014 and 2022, which included a Uruguayan scheme. But I know what you mean, very few indeed.

I would absolutely wet myself if somebody made a H-34 in 35th scale ....48th is ok ,,72nd is far to small for me but even 48th  aint that big either ,,its not that large a chopper .
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

Fly have done 1/32 Wessex kits, the HC.2 and HU.5.  I don't believe they've got a H.34, however there is a snub nose HAS.1/HAS.31 due out. I think there was a H.34 conversion available at one time.

Ya know at one point i'm pretty damn sure that Revell made a 32nd H-34 because i'm certain that in my memory banks i used to have one ..i know it wasn't 48th because i remember it being rather large .
But for me its  that timing thing matey ,,,if their out there they'll be far to damn expensive now for me to get one  :banghead:

Yeah i have hunted few times ,,did the hunt and its like it never was ,,a while back i tried to hunt down a 48th scale X-Wing ...again its like the kit never existed..you can find the AMT kit now but before ,,nope not a chance ,,i even had mates who worked in the computer industry search just to try their luck ,,even they had no success..it was very weird .
That Fly Models Wessex is a pretty good looking kit ,,the price tho doesn't look good at all  ;D
Course i'd have to then hunt down the H-34 conversion for that kit ,,ummm yeah Ratty ,,,this would be a bloody expensive experience

Airfix are giving away a FREE 1/72nd Beaufort Mk.1A kit on their website with any order over £50, until 12th of September or until stocks run out. You don't have to be a member of any club or scheme, just go to the website, order more that £50 worth, and the Beaufort is added to your cart automatically.

Also, if you're wondering how to spend £50, there's a couple of good bundles going at the moment:

Summer Air Show bundle (all 1/72nd scale):

BoB Memorial Flight set (Lancaster & 2 x Spitfires)
Chinook HC.1
Typhoon starter set
F-35B starter set
Red Arrows Hawk starter set
Spitfire starter set

The whole lot is £99.99 as a bundle whereas the individual kits would cost you £153.94.
That's a 35% saving: the Chinook alone is worth £35 and a Lanc will set you back £42, so if you get one now, you're getting a Chook, a Lanc and a Beaufort for your hundred quid, with three free Spitfires, a free Typhoon, a free F-35 and a free Hawk thrown in.

Masters  of the Air Bundle  (all 1/72nd scale):

2 x B-17G Fortresses
2 x P-51D Mustangs
1 x Bf 109E
1 x Fw 190A-8
1 x USAAF Bomber resupply set

The whole lot is £119.99 as a bundle whereas the individual kits would cost you £157.93.
That's a 24% saving: the B-17s alone are £42 each and the resupply set is £35.

All the bundles can be found here: https://uk.airfix.com/shop/bundles?langPath=airfix-uk&filters%5Bmandatory_filter_by%5D%5Bproduct_br_category%5D=br-bundles&filters%5Bmandatory_filter_by%5D%5Bproduct_sub_category%5D=Mystery+Boxes%40%40%40%21Hobby+Bundles%40%40%40%21Value+Packs&page_id=112120&sort-by=8&page=1
