Yeah, you really need one of them in your house, don't you? It'd make a great hat stand......................

After the Atomic City/MRC 1/12th
scale Mercury capsule was released I joked with a friend that he needed to build a Redstone booster to go with it. 6" diameter PVC drainpipe is almost perfect.

Double discount (20%) for Airfix Club members this weekend (5th-7th).

Sod's Law, I put an order in for an SLS on Wednesday.... :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

Is it just my nasty suspicious mind, or is there an air of desperation about all this? We've had a Club members sale, free £25 kits, and now double-discount, pretty much back-to-back. Are they in trouble?

Can you cancel it and re-do it?

Been thinking that for ages, although Hornby (the parent) have had a reasonable year if you look at their most recent results.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Think it's out for delivery now.

There have been things said in other forums about their financial state recently, but the model railway ones seem to have been more positive. Although their 'introduction' of their new TT120 range was seen as a desperate attempt to generate a new market for a short while.

Workbench covering several of the 1/76 ex-JB Models kits; the Land Rover Series III hardtop, Land Rover 101 FC and L118/L119 105mm Light Gun. It probably means their release is imminent.

I've built the Light Gun, it's surprisingly fiddly for few parts but looks good when done. I've also built the 101, it's a really nice kit. I've got lots of ideas for those, I'd happily pick up half a dozen.

No worries, another Spitfire issue will help them.

I'm happy to see them being issued again, but I've already got an absolute stack of JB and first issue Airfix ones, so I really don't need any more.
