More Charger progress today.  Got the light bar together and painted all the fiddley bits.  I might get it all in place tomorrow but I have a lunch date.

Been working on finishing off the SU-34 before I go back to work on Tuesday.
Not going to make it but i've got pretty close.
Last things to add are the weapons and the tiny sticky out bits.
I have the hardpoints on but the weps themselves are riddled with ejector pin marks.  Would you believe four in a single R-73 AAM (sidewinder analogue).  Easy enough to fill and sand but a PitA nethertheless.  I have also drilled out or added tube for rocket nozzles.  Painting is in progress.
It's things like this which prove that while it says Tamiya on the box what is inside is pure Italeri.
I do have aftermarket examples of most of the weps but would rather keep them for Ron as the kit ones are saveable.

More painting of weapons for the Sukhoi today.

As far as car models go, having finished the  GCPD Charger I have begun one of the kits i've had in my stash the longest - A Revellogram '67 Dodge Coronet Superstock.  This one;

The plan is a near OOB build using the kit transfers to produce a replica of Shirley Shahan's race car.  That assumes the transfers play nice.  They are about 28 years old but I have two complete sets so i am hopefull.
🤞🏼

There is however a complication.  I have one of these staring at me from a stash overflow pile.  It would make a perfect accompaniment and is bleating "build me. build me..."

Aggghh, I've never even SEEN one of those L700s in the plastic yet!

Green with envy mode on!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Maybe a quick spray with decal fix?
But you already knew that, of course... I'll go back to lurking.

And the postage costs from the US would be about three times the price of the kit, and then dear Rachel would slap duty AND VAT on it when it got here.  :banghead:  :banghead:

True, I keep forgetting those... sorry.  :banghead:

But Fred's come to the rescue, so all good.
How's the White Charger doing, Fred?  ;)

The White Super Stock car is a Coronet.  I've built and painted the engine and glued some parts together.  It's a slow build.

Su-34 is finished.  It awaits photography.

I was referring to the 'White Knight on a Charger, coming to the Rescue' trope... ;)

Finally started to put paint on the Tu-134 today.  Polished the primer and put on some white.
And because i did that I pulled out the 144th Airfix Vanguard from the stash with a view to fixing the broken props before putting it together.
Airfix, in their wisdom didn't put sprue round the outside of the frames meaning that there is nothing to protect the props from damage when the parts bag bounces around inside the box.
My example has lost one blade each from three of the props.  I was planning to try to glue them back on but they have somehow vanished from inside what I thought was a sealed bag.
I looked into getting hold of replacements but it looks like only Aeroclub made them and they are not available anymore.
Plan B is make some spinning prop discs, build it wheels up, and put it on a stand.

No plastic (other than Lego) for xmas but I did get a gift voucher for a LHS which I am working on spending.
