Hurricane backdate sounds good.

zenrat

Thanks Rick.

Quote from: PR19_Kit on October 30, 2025, 05:21:29 AM...The Hurri sounds a bit like the hawker Cyclone I did a few years ago, a half way house from the Fury to the Hurricane.

There are at least three different Hawker Cyclones on here.
I just had a squizz at yours Kit.  Soon as I saw it i remembered it...
...and your worry at losing it for a while.

Mine is slightly later with a Merlin and a variable pitch (but still two bladed) prop.  And much bigger spats.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hurricane fuselage is cut down and PSR'd and wings are in place.  Some more PSR will be needed.  Work has begun on the spats.

Bulldog is complete apart for some paint touch ups.

Dicker Max is complete apart for some paint touch ups, sorting the sit of the tow cables, and painting a figure.

Charger cop car got a first coat of clear today.  Transfers are printed and ready and may go on tomorrow.

I'm painting the SU-34 canopy and will begin work on the fiddley bits soon.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm not a big stringbag fan but that Bulldog is very nice work indeed!
"Sticks and stones may break some bones but a 3.57's gonna blow your damn head off!!"

Thanks folks.
Bulldog is I think ready for some photos and I shall write some bullshit backstory.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
