The pics show the kits well enough, the paint is a 23ml jar of tamiya's XF-4 yellow green and the little bag of resin bits is the ArmyCast 1/72 MH/HH-60G conversion set for Hasegawa kits.

More 1/35 junkyard armour and other bits, including a bag of arms... not as many figures to use them all on, but at least I have Options for all the other ones I do have.

In fact, I am now very well armed...

Oh come on - surely you saw that one coming?!  ;D

There's a punchline here about "throwing your hand in" just looking for a joke to attach itself to!

Give him the elbow...

DFZ - The Hobby Boss 1/72 SLUF is a nice build.  I enjoyed it.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Fate, Serendipity or something more ....... ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I've got two of these (maybe three....) in The Loft, with the avowed intention of building a RW Super 4 out of them. You have to convert them to a Mk 2 first, and then add one to the other. But I'd be left with enough bits left over to make an open deck SRN4, like a mega LCAC. Hmmmmm....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Fred, that's good to know, thanks!
I have been buying up the available A-7 kits and i've had the A-7P box for a real world Portuguese SLUF in my stash for years now.
That is what i've come to expect from the HB kits, although some have some accuracy issues and i've only built 4 HB kits so far but, i've found the fit is generally good and the detail present also looks good... and i also think the prices are good for what's in the box.

The Wooksta!

A set of ye olde Frog Wyvern decals arrived earlier - the set I have is badly yellowed and I wanted the Wyvern cartoon for the engine cowl of one of the projects.

Oh, and Chrisnord kindly donated a pair of MB5 fuselages.

I've not built a bad Hobby Boss kit.  Doesn't say they don't exist though.  Even the very simple Zlin 42/142 kits with their odd moulded in clear all in one wing/fuselage construction went together well.

Arrived today, a Brengun 1/72 Mustang I picked up from evilbay. Now, I wonder if there's a Mustang II out there

Forgot to mention I was gifted a part assembled Sword Short Seamew at the club t'other night.  The lad building it was about to bin it as it wasn't working for him.

I hate the idea of simply binning kits... there's usually some parts that can be of use, somewhere.
I'm happy to take cast-offs and junked kits, on that basis - the trouble is, you can end up with a distinct lack of space with that methodology (Don't Ask, etc),
and I've reluctantly come to the conclusion that you can't save everything.  :-\
