Quote from: Charlie_c67 on April 04, 2026, 05:32:03 AMEver look at your stashes and wonder how you ended up with so many of a type? 34 Spits and 25 Hurricanes makes me wonder if they truly do breed or whether I've caused an L-space portal to open in my cupboards.

Lightweight!  Come back when you have 300 built spitfires and double that in the stash.

Did anyone not see that coming? Anyone?  ;D

And he didn't even mention Mosquitos...........

I guess it's easy to see what the kits are, the Eduard mask set is for the Hobbyboss 1/72 A-7 Corsair kits.

Some junkyard kits:

3X Tamiya Panzer 4 lower hulls, and the running gear to make 2, with a Brumbar upper hull.
1X Italeri M4A1 76, almost complete
1X elderly ancient Tamiya King Tiger hull, sans turret - it might get a twin 5.5cm AA turret?
1X Tamiya 3.7 flak

And a pretty complete Tamiya Horch.

Most smaller bits and stowage missing, but I'll have a root around and see what I can come up with as I have a few Pz 4 Equipment sets.

This Draken procurement did trigger some reveals, I have to admit..  ;D
Anyway, it's good not to be too unique.

Arrived just before easter from aliexpress, and quite quickly too, Hasegawa European weapons set, bought mainly for the Brimstone missiles and pylons. Cost just over £14 including the postage.

Considering the stories about getting anything on aliexpress, are they the real thing?

Well, yes, but I've added more Airfix ones since then, plus a load of Tamiya.  And once they've been started, they're not in the stash.  I'll guestimate it at around 40.  I do know that the Hornet stash is double that.

On our way to Adelaide we stopped overnight with a Nephew.  He gave me a kit he is not going to build.

1/48 Kitech F111-A.  Wrong scale I know but it can easily be scaloramaed into the one true scale.  The mechanism for the "working" rotating hardpoints intrigues me.
