Go Steampunk-ish? A sidewheeler where the paddle wheels also function as pedrails?
🤔

I have a vision of little legs with boots on the end which extend out from the end of each paddle. You then have a paddle steamer running down the road  ;D

Patent the idea quick before Disney or whoever grab the idea,  ;D

Subterrene. A vehicle capable of operating over land and underground. Sci-fi designs tend to use drills, real-world proposals tend to have a superheated nose to melt rock (and are often not capable of moving over land).

The Mole in Thunderbirds is a Subterrene. Rocket powered drill. Carried by a tracked platform which it detaches from, so not strictly eligible for this GB without redesign.

The Underminer's drill in The Incredibles. More suitable for the GB, can move overland under it's own power.

A flying boat that can raise and turn its wings to the vertical to create a sail effect

This might be my second entry (if it's deemed acceptable) in sailing config - with some sort of in service scheme, I'm thinking possible a pacific theatre.

Jude Law's P-40 has a submarine
mode, and a ludicrous range.

A DH.88 comet would be a good starting point for this build

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I have an idea rattling around in my head.  It involves kitbashing one of the many amphibious cars/trucks in my stash with another vehicle from the same manufacturer.
I am awaiting the arrival of the second kit so I can offer up plastic to assess actual practicality.

A second idea is an amphibious police patrol vehicle for swampy regions.

Had an idea for a DUKW which I think would have worked rather well for this GB ...but do ya think I can find here for not a stupid price ..no  :banghead:
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I found this fantastic project proposal from the Germans. The shape is far too bizarre for me to begin to work out how to go about building one. It's called the UGS Manta. It is an amphibious, submersible,  hydroplaning torpedo boat  :o

It's a hydrofoil submarine with WHEELS too?  :o  :o

I guess it might fit this GB, just.....................  ;D  ;)
