I got so sick and tired of knocking over my Tamiya glues iues to take a chunk of polystyrene and cut a square out of it and put the glue in that ,,worked a treat ,,,now i've use a Depiae one my mate Perrin gave me ,,its machined from a solid block of alloy with a anti slip pad on the base ,,fecking love it  ;D
For my superglues and tube putty i just use a old business card container which works great too,,keeps everything sitting up right
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I use the Tamiya square bottles with the small brushes and decant the larger bottles of glue into it, a bit at a time.
They've got a solid base and a low centre of gravity, so it's working for me so far.
And if it did spill, there's not so much to lose.

And I do store the superglue upright, but it still goes off within a week.  :banghead:

One more project just finished. Airfix 1/72 Hawk D3 drone. Paint, Llanbedr Yellow and BR rail freight red. Freightdog's extended rear fuselage also used with plastic card strakes on the airbrake. Will be showing this one at Thornbury this Sunday.

Great idea for the glue holder ! I need to do something like that and build myself a travelling kit. Of course, now that I'm nearing the end of my career I'd devise a perfect travelling kit......

The drone looks great as well ! Canada just retired all of our Hawks and sent them to the school in Borden. Surely we could have shot a couple down !?

Thanks. There are a few other wiffed Hawks to do, an Irish and Belgian ones being but two. I imagined this Hawk being a full scale aerial target somewhere in west Wales......

PR19Kit will be pleased to see the progress with the MB12. I have begun the process of getting all the bits glued up. Long way to go.

This is going to be one of those double-take moments for Rivet Counters when it's on a show table!  ;D  ;D

That's looking very promising Trevor, that centre section is almost EXACTLY the correct chord for an MB5/6 wing too.

Will it be a four seater, with the double length canopies?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

This indicates the extent of the work on the underside of the MB12 very well. Lots of filler, plastic card and scraping required.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

The top side of the MB12. Put the tailplane in earlier this afternoon. In a bit it's off to a rather good annual BBQ. As there is no etch brass for the Martin Baker, naturally I am using an F82 set from Airwaves.
