Thanks. Get to see if for real at the Coventry show and I'll explain my reasoning.

I'll try and bring my 2-seater SRA.1 as well.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Genie armed Lightning T55 in RAF markings proceeds. The first photo is the overall a/c and the second the Genies. The dayglo  orange is RAL2005 Leuchtorange. It's my last Lightning for now.

After this Lightning is done the decision is what to do next.

Decisions, decisions.  ;)

I think you need to set up a poll and let the people decide, Trev 😉

Nah! That way lies madness & trying to satisfy others, when you should be focussing on your own needs & desires!

A little bit late but, "May the Fourth be with You," & guide you to an enlightened choice, Trev!

Started a 1/72 Airfix Hawk T1 and as if by magic a Freightdog 862 Hawk T2 tail ie an extended jet pipe is worked into the build. I am not sure what the finish will be but green and dark gray camo is a front runner.

Update on the SRA-1. Done most of the decals in one session. Just  the snagging left to do.

The decalling of the SRA-1 has not gone as well as it could. One of the serial number decals is lost and more annoyingly one of the code letters broke up a bit during application.  I think I have a plan to dig myself out of this hole. By comparison the RAF Lightning armed with two Genies is decalling well.

Quick project relatively speaking.

Esci F104C in the markings of 111 Squadron and Black Mike.

Just the nose wheel to find.

Just spent the best part of 45 minutes clearing up after a serious  spill of super glue on my cutting mat. Not my idea of fun. Several pots of enamel stuck fast but removed all of them six or so in the end without further spills.

Anyone else spilt this stuff lately?

Started an 1/72 MB12. That's a zwilling Martin Baker MB6. My thanks to Kit for a F82 centre section.
