not too certain we should,    one of my other liked quotes is " pave the earth, chrome the moon" from a shadowrun / cyberpunk discussion, from 30 ish years ago, that i liked the sound of, and was very fitting for said discussion path.

went too add some more to the AVRE turret, and as i picked it up the search light box came off 
so thats been re-glued, and im putting flesh on figures instead

  And cleaned up a pack  from Rouge Miniatures fitting for 4 of the terrorists from die hard, plus Hans in a coat and 1 figure with a chainsaw.  currently superglueing into the slota bases.

4 more of the foundry street violence figures finished.  the flock is drying as i type, so they will get varnished today or tomorrow. so im adding them to the count

having reached ( nearly ) the end of the holiday year at work. it seems i have holiday to take, so its a long weekend.
so painting will be done, and i may ( if the inspiration holds) try to consolidate /  sort / try and get a handle on the lead pile.  It may not resolve to more than a quick look through whats still to be done.  but it gives me  a chance to re acquaint myself with whats there, and possibly put some stuff for similar eras / projects together, ( Victorian / steam punk,  Vietnam, spy/fi, odd fantasy etc).
how far it goes depends.

had a dig round
consolidated some built and painted scenery into the appropriate toolbox. 
found the empress Australian SASR troops that i got, also found the Force of arms Vietnam era troops 3 rifle squads a platoon command and some extras including a pair of journalists,  they have gone in the same storage area as the Assault Group US figures i got years ago.       thats one project together ( i think)
Found a late WW2 British 25lbr gun and crew, and a pack howitzer, must try to get them done so i can get them in storage.
Located and amalgamated my Crooked Dice Temporal Vagabond and friends ( Mat Smith era)  they are in one clamshell pack now and will get done soon ish.
and found 4 ground Zero Hells Bells that i got 2nd hand that need to be stripped and repainted to go with the others i have.

In addition ive got a little more colour on the 3 mafiosi and 3 toughs that are the current paint jobs 
not a bad  couple of hours.

Had a look at the Cozmic models site and the Blakes 7 Liberator and system pursuit ship are up, and are rather more than i was hoping for     and possibly more than i a willing to save for, especially as they are not going to be easily displayable   due to the size they are on the web site.
this however means i can keep saving for as yet undefined future stuff, without too much worry

the rest of the currently undercoated street violence figures ave been finished and flocked.  so are on a plastic try to dry before varnishing,  that should be this afternoon.
