What, us say something?

Of course we have no intention of uttering a single word.......................however, what we might be thinking is another matter entirely!

A base duck?

Yes.

Quote from: Oxford University Presscanard

An unfounded rumour or story. Recorded from the mid 19th century, the word comes from French, literally 'duck', also 'hoax', from Old French caner 'to quack'. One suggested origin is the expression vendre un canard à moitié 'half-sell a duck', with the implication that a half-sale is no sale at all, and therefore the vendor has been fooled. Alternatively, the expression has been attributed to a made-up story about ducks, which was believed by many, and came to exemplify public credulity.

There's always something more to learn... which some of the younger (and older) generation don't seem to have cottoned onto...

Well it'll be 2026 in 10 hours time. Not many NY Resolutions, but main one is to keep waking up on a morning  ;)  followed by hopefully making a little more progress when it comes to modelling and finally hoping that my family and friends can either continue to stay healthy or make full recoveries where necessary

Happy New Year all

Did the same myself and then discovered i'd glued the cockpit frames of a Hurricane the wrong way around. B*gger.

Cut a bit more plastic, sloshed a bit of paint and put the first order of the year in with the Big H. Are we sure it's only 3rd Jan ?  ;)

Nothing to do with modelling, but rather a sign that Christmas is over.

On my way back from the shops this morning, which is a 15 minute stroll, are passed 17 dumped Christmas trees, 12 of which were in the same spot just around the corner from my estate ! Probably dumped by the same group of shysters who regularly dump matresses there. Charge people to take their rubbish away and then dump it for the council, aka the Ratepayer, to clear.

These guys are so regular it's ridiculous and how the council can't catch them is beyond me. Probably can't be bothered to.

End of rant before I need to "Book" myself for breaching the no politics rule  ;)
