They've been tested and approved for flight, but none of the operators have bought them to my knowledge. Tranche 3 aircraft onwards are able to carry them.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

PR19_Kit

They look very 'Gerry Anderson' designed. :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

My resin 1/50 two seater Typhoon doesn't look like that with the conformal fuel tanks.

That's because your tanks go too far to the rear of the aircraft.

Listed as coming soon on the City Hobby Store website.  They are not allowing pre-orders but i've put down to get an e-mail when they are available.  I hope these are not as big a disappointment as the 'dyne.
I think i might like two.  But we'll see.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

They're new moulds, so they won't have the awful 1960s period mould wear on them.

I'd like to compare one with the Accurate Armour resin one I have, but I'm not sure I'm THAT interested enough to fork out £40.00 or so.

But this is WhiffWorld, so it's TOTALLY accurate.  ;D

I think you'll be alright with the Stolly. The Rotodyne is an old kit, only a few of their older tools have had a good clean up, usually older ones that have had an aspect of the tooling that is damaged or missing.

The thing that tends to do for Airfix at moment is someone online focusing on a small aspect that's a minor issue. The Stolly should be good overall.

There'll be plenty built up kits at shows by the end of the year, you'll be able to compare vicariously.

No, to be totally accurate in Whifworld they need to be buddy wingman fuel tanks linked by a refueling house while flying in formation

It's been tried, both in the USA and Nazi Germany:

Thanks, they look more like those fitted to the F-16 than the Typhoon.
