Quote from: Weaver on Today at 09:52:55 AMOooh, this is interesting: Airfix have just put a video up on Youtube doing a walkaround of an Avro Lincoln at the RAF Museum. Now why would they do that, unless they were, at least, gauging interest in a kit, or maybe even because they were there to laser-scan it and what to pre-hype the announcement? Assuming that's the case, I've left them a very encouraging comment, and it wouldn't hurt if other people did the same (hint, hint...).

They could have at least spelled "Lincoln" correctly in the thumbnail. :banghead:

About time too!  :-\

And of course it has longer wings...........  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It would be nice, but then I would have to come up with something else to do with the Blackbird conversion set I have  :-\

Thank you for your sacrifice - buying that probably made Airfix do it...

Ditto that.

Plus i also have the DB lincoln set from ebay several years back.

Wouldnt stop me buying a full kit should it become available.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I'd be very tempted.

Don't have possible references immediately to hand, so can anyone cast any light on Lancaster, York and Shackleton fuselage widths, please?
