There's a fair bit of styrene, but not as much as you might think. It is, after all, just a hollow box on tracks.  ;)

I've just ordered the Hobby Fan (resin) interior set for the LVTP5 on Evil Bay, from Taipei with free postage.

It was one of only two I could find, the other was in Europe, which was going for more than the set I bought, & postage was extra.

It still cost more than the kit.

Ordered a fresh batch of resin from the Bay of E, as there's a couple of Wyvern projects I want to do and they all use the early airframe style that I have a mould for.

Plus some rubber, as there's quite a few engines that I've been meaning to mould - the Dekno CASA Heinkel Merlins for a start, as they're better than the Heritage ones I already have and some Viscount turboprops, as I've seen a navalised turboprop Meteor F8 that looks interesting.

Always a sad time when another LHS closes up.  Doesn't matter how old you are, just something special about searching a an old school hobby shop for that surprise must-have.

Navalised turbo prop and meteor has got my radar pinging. Looking forward to seeing that. I have been looking for a trent meteor for too long, to do something FAA with it.

It's not a Trent, looks more like a Dart hence me wanting to copy the Viscount engine.

Hmm? I have several sets of Dart engines too, but longer landing gear and suitable propellers would also be needed too.

All 1/35:
4-set of US Armored crew,
a set of 5X Female heads  (finally, someone's done some, and I'll likely be heading back for some of the others.  <_< )
and a set of hands, which will be all kinds of useful.

Plus a Stargate ball cap and a tool to make wire grab handles.

One of the 'strayan Hobby Shops which send me e-mails had a sale.  I can't remember which one but they had some good discounts on 1/25 GPX Cyber Formula kits.

And from Mako Models on evil-bay.  This has more interior detail than a lot of 1/72 cargo planes and a loading ramp.  I may be needing some 1/144 trucks.

I built the Special Hobby one when it first came out. I'm not sure I've seen another example built or boxed ??
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I can guess that OGL has one in his stash, but then again so do I. You don't see them very often that's for sure though.

No, I spoke to someone from Special hobby who, they said deal with MPM kits, and they said they were not going to be re-releasing it. Bugger.
