Yeah, but can you pick up your girlfriend and make out in the back of a GAU-8? Okay, not easy in  VW Beetle, but possible! (Been there, done that!)

that opens many more doors cause the 32nd scale guns are M61 20mm Vulcans but case there 32nd they are bigger and look like 25mm or even 30 mm depending on how ya want to go about it

Bear in mind that the GAU-8 has seven barrels, the M61 has six barrels and the GAU-12 (which I presume is the 25mm gun you're referring to) has five barrels.

Of course, if you're whiffing a whole plane or vehicle, there's no reason why you can't invent a whole new Gatling gun to go with it, and there were lots of interesting prototype electric Gatlings that never saw production.

There's also the M197 3-barrel 20mm electric cannon found on the AH-1W SuperCobra & AH-1Z Viper, amongst others.

The Airfix Tempest I ordered from eBay on Monday has arrived this morning.  That's the wing for the Hawker P.1030 scratchbodge sorted.

Agreed chaps .. there's a few choices out there and as Harold said ,,wiffy world doors are open too  ;D
With it's 7 barrels it could even be are more higher rate of fire 20mm ..6000rpm from the M61 is sweet ,, but 8000rpm from the M62 could be even sweeter again

I did however have to go to Auckland today to a place called Pick A Part ..ti's a you pull it wreaking yard ,,i needed the hub/knuckle of a E55 AMG Merc there cause the one on this C55 AMG i'm got bent when i had to smack nice colours of poop out of the rotor to get that off .. got the new hub and then headed off to my not very local hobby shop and came home with this lot
All 1/48th scale too .
2 sets of Reheat Models decals ,, one is Cockpit control placards ,,modern and a set of instrument dials ,,modern and vintage .
Verlinden Mosquito cockpit detail set for Tamiya
Jaguar Hawker Typhoon detail set .
True Details KM1 Soviet ejection sets for 70s era Soviet aircraft
And a Hi-tech Mosquito superdetail set ,,i think they might want to rename that as this "superdetail" set tho very nice is just the wheels and some flaps ,,,it's for the Airfix kit but man those wheels are nice and with thread too  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Yesterday found both Monogram and Frog 1/72 boxings of the A-5 Vigilante on The Bay. Intention is to kitbash/hack up/butcher the Frog (aka Hasegawa) boxing into an A-5A using the marginally underscale Monogram parts. We'll see soon how feasible that is or is not.

Next challenge is to find a set of decals for an A-5A, or at least a set of RA-5C decals for a Squadron that operated both.... Answers on a postcard please.

Stuart, there is a conversion article in Finescale Modeler a good few years back for the A-5A.

Wait until you see how big the Frog box is...

Easy large enough for TWO Vigis at the same time.  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

My wife used to send me Gumtree (local trading app) ads for model kits, usually quite random & rarely in my scales, then complaint when I would buy one or more that were of interest & in my scales. She stopped doing it a couple of years ago.
