Just as I like pilots in my aircraft to add some scale to the model I like drivers in my vehicles.  Unfortunately it's not so easy for a few reasons.  One of them being a lack of suitable figures.
I have been buying up 1/35 driver figures when I see them.  These are the latest addition.  Two figures in each box.
I got them from RCMA in Queensland.  They were having a special on ICM kits so the price you see is not what I paid.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Quote from: NARSES2 on January 25, 2026, 12:52:03 AMI doubt very much you will need to worry about the rigging on that Gotha   ;D

In fact i am much interested in that rigging because it is very characteristic on the Design 😀.  I think that problem can be solved, i have no concrete idea for the gotha, but that Bomber is not as big as expected.
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep .
Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

My haul was modest:

Courtesy of Geoff:
Magna Short Sturgeon
Airfix Mosquito B.XVI

Tamiya Mosquito B.IV
Magna Firebrand TF.III/IV - this is the only Firebrand mark I didn't have, so it filled a nice hole.  Other than the crude Airmodel vac form, all of the 72nd Firebrand kits have passed through my hands.

Four Aeroclub Spitfire props from a rummage bin upstairs - two 5 blade Griffon, 1 four blade Griffon and a contra prop.
1 sheet of RAF 36in Dull Red code letters.  Most handy for Mosquito night fighters.

And finally, courtesy of Weaver
SH DH Hornet F3 decals and spare NF21 observers glazing.

And I get back only for bay to tell me I won the Tamiya Mosquito FB.6 I was bidding on.  At a reasonable price, inclusive of post.

Don't Centurions have Optios, or better yet Legionaries to do the Grunt Work?
(2 for the price of one, Oy!  ;D  I'll get my coat...)

No! No! No! You're looking at this from the wrong direction!

It's the job of the Tribuni angusticlavii (Think of him as a rich-kid sub-altern/2LT.) to know how many Centurions are present & that they are properly equipped.

It's the job of the (read it carefully!) Praefectus castrorum (Think of him as a RSM, who has been given a commission as a LT, maybe even CAPT.) to make sure the Tribuni angusticlavii gets it right.

PR19_Kit

A short trip to ModelsForSale from my country home today garnered two bottles of Tamiya thinner, which hopefully WON'T strip the rest of the paint off the B-2S, and numerous refills of Tamiya tape that won't leave a residue once I've re-painted its main NMF colour!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Received today from the land of the rising sun: a Hasegawa 1/72 Macross Valkyrie VF-1A/J/S boxing. This will be Whiffed into an RAF VF-1, since its reasonable to assume we would have fielded them during the First Space War.

Ok these are more tools than stash items but still model stuff .. i received 3 scalpel handles and 6 Swann Morton No11 blades ... now this clearly ain't enough   blades but its a start ,,so i went a huntin ... cand i found 100 packs of No11 blades ,, all surgical jobbies ,, the prices were all over the place ,,and i MEAN all over the place ,, anywhere from $39 nz to $99 nz for the exact same thing!!
Then i saw a Temu add for 100 packs of Japanese made No11 blades for $14.79nz and that now got my attention ... so without further ado i ordered 3 packs of blades .. a 100 pack of No11's ,,a 100 pack of No10's and a 100 pack of No21's ..all for $46.71nz and free postage ... i aint running out of blades when this lot turn up
Least i know these will turn up ....Temu have been very very good .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I picked the Trumpter Stryker kit I ordered to go with the S-tank. It looks like these two will fit together very closely. I'm thinking of a three tone modern NATO pattern. We shall see what happens when the cutting and bashing start!
