"noses" - uh huh... ;)

My dog has a nose, and frequently she has opinions about things.

My dogs got no nose.
Really how does she smell?
She can't.  What part of "has no nose" did you not understand you unfeeling bar steward.  She's disabled.  She lost her nose in an incident involving a meat pie and a ceiling fan.  She has a sniffing nose Golden Retriever which does it for her.  It sniffs the groins of the humans she meets and then describes them to her.

But I digress.

I touched up the tails of the Mopache today where the masking failed.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

So is Mop Ache that feeling you get in your shoulders when you've been washing the floor for too long?  ;)

Thinking about transfers.  I'm pretty sure I have some Royal Lao Air Force roundels somewhere.  They have elephants on...

Am I alone in painting the model and then thinking about who the user would be?  I don't always do it this way but find that sometimes i get a betterer result if I wait to see how the scheme looks before I decide who flies it.

Why not? I've had projects change nationalities half way through.

Same.
And I've got a few nearly completed, but on indefinite hold until I work out what scheme/user I want...  :banghead:

Glad its not just me.

I found the transfers.  They are Royal Khmer Air Force not Laos (close, they are neighbours).
They are from a Print Scale MiG 17 set.  One of two sheets in a package Princess Charlie the Wonder Dog got to before I did.  They are slightly chewed along one edge.
They don't have elephants on them, they have Angkor Wat.
How many other air forces have roundels with a UNESCO world heritage site on them?

Skulls are from the Finemolds Porco Rosso Curtis and the fin serials are from an ancient Hasegawa T-33 sheet (I was surprised they were still viable as they must be close to 50 years old - they have yellowed a little).

Orange stuff is PlayDoh.  It makes for good masking putty.
