I've never built one.............................yet.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

They'll look betterer with more coats on as they'll darken up as the colour density increases he says pretending he knows what he is on about.

It's getting there. Have you thought about replacing the props? The ones in the kit look a little light weight. Something more heavy duty would look better in my opinion. Of course, opinions are like noses, everybody's got one!

You were right about the Hasegawa props Kerick, they are nasty.  I had a rummage and found some replacements and some suitable spinners.

Dealing with the fiddly bits.  Canopy, turret, legs, props etc.  I have yet to sort out some weapons and transfers.  I might make it Venezuelan.
And today I masked (have I mentioned I hate masking) and painted red/white chequer pattern on the vertical tails.
