Those prop blades should cope with quite a bit of power.

Yes Sir that they will do ..zero ideas on just how much power mind you  but it's gonna be abit for sure 

You sure those props are big enough ?   

Chris they look kinda big eh but    ..there only slightly larger the original B-17 props but 4mm or so ..think cause there's just so many if  😆

That is some very ambitious kit-bashing. It looks like it will turn out well too.

It's so good soo far at this point point Al ...things are working out nicely 👌

They look half-way to being axial turbo-props. 

Considering what I've done to em now mate you could be right  .
I was looking at em yesterday and I was thinking something is missing so I had a play and I think you'll like what I've been up to

Yeah..this is moving along great now .
The real PSR is going to start soon-ish..it's already begun in small doses just to get a base layer down so I can build off that 😉 😀

PSR has takin place and yep ,,more has already happened ,,,I'm happy that i have finally sorted out how the rear of the fuselage looks ,,it's been a bane of this build for a wee while cause of trying to smooth the B-24s wing mounts into the 17's fuselage..so far so good 
Here's what this looks like at the mo ..first off the wings with there second layer of putty and yep ,,,one tube of gray Tamiya putty is already history ,,alone with half of what was remaining of white putty .

Thank you muchly Kit ,,that turned into fun when i had turned the wheel wells around so they now tucked inwards and then it was ,,"oh bullocks" ,,the results tho worked 

I see quite a bit of PSR still to come in your future, Phill.

So much so that i can't touch it today as i'm waiting for the bloody stuff to dry 
I added epoxy putty to the rear turret area yesterday so it would smooth that out and look more like the rear turret in that pic .
