Ahhhh ha ..yeah it shows that me brain sometimes went straight to food instead of to winglets

Or call em TLFW's "The little front wings"
What ever the hell they end being called I'm still chuffed they were so easy to sort out 

And it follows that the metal covering the foreplanes would be the foreskin...

Just had to go out and purchase another couple of notebooks, and yes I still use pen and paper. What saves time is that I've developed a system whereby I can classify the type and severity of each offence with a simple Alpha Numeric code, I then keep a separate notebook which explains what these codes stand for/mean. Most of Fred's are simply classified as "Z1", "Z2" etc. All I need to do now is remember where I put the book explaining the coding system.

Sometimes when watching historical documentaries and you get historians de-coding some ancient language from fragments found on a pot or similar I do muse on some historian in 3,000 years time finding fragments of "The Book"

What i want to see is the entire wall of books with a plaque  mounted to the top saying "Fred's wall" ..or maybe its even bigger than that its a gallery instead of just a wal ,,so it would say "Fred's Gallery"

Oh ,,forgot to mention ...no work on this today as i had a 2020 Holden Colorado to fix with a bung turbo ...found the problem ,,the rod which goes from the actuator to the waste gate was missing 
How the hell that fell off i dont know and can ya get a replacement ? ,,not on your nelly ,,thankfully theres more than one here so i just measured it and made a new one 
Tomorrow will be a different story and now i've also got new batteries for my camera too

Oh ,,forgot to mention ...no work on this today as i had a 2020 Holden Colorado to fix with a bung turbo ...found the problem ,,the rod which goes from the actuator to the waste gate was missing 

What? It would have gone THROUGH the waste gate to get out, wouldn't it? Are they bolted on or clipped or.....?

Kit the actuator on these are electronic and sit bolted to the side of the turbo ..and yep the rods are clipped on and not very well either ..with continuous use these I think the clips weaken and with the vibration they fall off 
Along with the rod ...if ya look at this setup you can see the whole thing ..it's a good idea just not a super good one .

PSR has begun on the wings and the fuselage and yep..i've already run out of a tube of Tamiya's basic gray putty ,,it was only a half tube but it covered quite alot of plastic ,,I've still got a full tube of the white Tamiya putty to play with but the next real putty work will be with epoxy

Those prop blades should cope with quite a bit of power.
