Yes.  I have both Frog and Hasegawa Me 410  boxings of the same 1966 moulds.  And I have the Frog Vigilante which is the 1968 Hasegawa moulds in a huge box with great box art.

Oh yes, Hasegawa and FROG had quite a large common catalogue, the B-47, Neptune, Phantom and Voodoo being just a few that come to mind right off.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I've never seen that Frog Vigilante box before. If I had I might still be building jets  ;)

Ta for that mate  ;D

It's a calm day and the chief engineer has been told to arrange maximum  umph from the engines  to provide sufficient wind over the deck..

Unfortunately one of his minions has turned on too many boiler fuel sprayers too quickly and the result is a cloud of partially combusted fuel oil!

Thought I'd take a group shot of my Jolly Rogers collection so far. Next on the list is the Sword FJ-3 Fury. Never built a Sword kit before. From a couple of videos I've seen could be a challenging kit.  Probably get to it sometime next year. Next on the bench will be a new Whiff. 😁

It is indeed

With Sword kits it tends to depend on how old the kit is. Some of the earlier ones can certainly be "challenging", some of the more recent ones less so. They are like most limited run kits and just need a little care and attention. Afraid I've not built the Fury so can't comment directly.

So I finished up a little side project I've been working on this summer. I'd posted a bit back on my Phaux Phantom squadron of 1/72 Warbirds done in F-4 Phantom paint schemes. I wanted to do something with them as a group so I decided to try and create some hangable, picture frame dioramas. While I had lofty ambitions at the start, they were quickly overcome by realities of my skills and patience. So end the end I bought the bases, painted and/or weathered and then fancied them up with additional stuff like bushes, trees, and other airfield bric-n-brac. So I guess you could call it semi-homemade. Now let's just hope the CA glue holds when I hang them on the wall.  :o

Istr the intake on the FJ3 was horrendous to build.

Ok on to the next adventure. Not a whiff, just a Hobby 2000 A-1H which I believe is a redbox of a Hasagawa kit. Was going to be an OOB build but then I remembered I had bought an Eduard PE kit for it. Though my last PE outing was mainly just frustration, going to give it another shot, cause I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. Wish me Luck.
