It is indeed

Lovely shot of the dog

Quote from: Pellson on May 19, 2025, 05:31:53 AMJust to let you know I'm alive and well. Not to be taken for granted these days, I'm afraid.

Waking up alive is always a good thing!

And not, really, something which should be taken for granted at any age, although it usually takes a fair number of years past 30 to figure that out.

Quote from: Pellson on May 19, 2025, 05:31:53 AMWe quickly popped by the cottage yesterday, the Beardrat and me, finding the local orchids in full bloom. Nice, and I would really have loved staying for a bit longer, but also this week is a bit congested with work, so home we went. Ah, next time..

Beardrat looks cute & wildlife (fauna or flora) is always good ... Relaxing.

Glad you're still with us, Mr P, sir.

Again, not much actually done, modellingwise, but that said, I have finally closed an open procurement project that I've been trying to complete for quite a few years now, despite the fact that building the models in question most likely will create a significant and acute storage issue.

As some of you might have guessed, I've managed to buy the final(!) big Boeing, a Heller E-3F, being my fourth Sentry, and thereby not only making it possible to build one E-3 for each user (US, UK, F and NATO) but also, as the US and the NATO sentries still use the old TF33  engines, the consequence being that the also included CF56 engines can be used on my two RC-135's, allowing those to be built as the current version.
As there also is a half built Heller B707 that will be completed either Italian or Spanish (choices, choices), I now have seven big Boeings in addition to the B-52H. Shelf space will indeed be an issue. That said, it's nice finally having all the pieces gathered.

You're going to need a larger house!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That gives me an idea of using the B-52 engines on a E-3. Possible engine swap although I did try and convert a E-3 into a maritime patrol aircraft. I might have another go at it.

Hang them on the wall vertically like picture frames.

Can you imagine how many charging points you'd need for an EV ?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's the idea I've seen before, and it makes a lot of sense.

Just hang them higher than the dog can jump...  :o
