Yeah, but those Block 420s were dogs.

They never did get the upper wing vibration problems sorted out and had to revert to the anhedral upper wing as used on the Block 410s for the Block 450s................

Pilotus PC-9s from Pearce RAAF base, tootling along the coast northwards near my house this morning.  Followed by a C-130 going in the opposite direction, southwards.   Interesting difference in note between the PT6 and the T-56.

An unmarked helicopter!!  Bright yellow, and hovering over the power lines outside the house.   Only  when I got out the binoculars did I see the words "Line Monitoring"  on the tail.   The driver waved back when I waved at him.

I heard a jet fly over this afternoon where I live. No big deal until I realized it was way louder than normal. Looked up it time to watch an F-15 fly over town low and fairly slow. This never happens where I live asi am nowhere near an AFB

So what I thought was the Westpac air ambulance yesterday might not have been?
Now i'm worried.

Mrs z came home from work yesterday and told me she had been looking out of the office window watching a plane doing "fancy stuff" over Albert Park.  Questioning elicited the following description.
"It was zooming around going up and down and it was grey".
From those comprehensive details I deduce she was watching an RAAF F/A-18 performing the daily aerobatic flypast for this weekends Formula 1 Grand Prick.

Are you sure they weren't CT-155s?  ;)

Captain Canada

Maybe these were CF-155s ? Four of them flew over today. Three side by side and the fourth was off to the right a wee bit. Cool.

Awesome! You're batting .1000 right now with catching all these!!

That bottom pic looks like an F-15 (or whatever million of variants of Eagles) to me. Not that it is, but just that it's what it looks like to me.

In my area, I saw a train of Blackhawks fly by. Man it was coooool lookin! I tried to grab my camera but was too slow. They weren't far off, either, it would have been a decent shot.  Four in a row in a staggered pattern probably around 800 feet AGL.
