Got this kit at a show for $2.  Tamiya F4D.  Yes 2 bucks.  Nose and cockpit were already done decently and since I didn't want to burn the one I have already I said what the hell.......

White belly with all the odds and sods.

Anybody want to guess what colours she'll be in?

Scooterman

Here's a hint.......

When I shot the canopy black I didn't notice it.  After the topside grey went down though I saw it

NICE BIG GAP!!!  FECK!!!

I can live with the overspray in the cockpit, but if it got onto the back side of the windscreen..........

Drying nicely.  Black nose coming bit later tonight.  Then Future for decals.

Love that plane...and your kit is looking great!!!
perhaps you could tell people that the glass is  "anti-glare" ???

Or you could leave the masking on and put it in a "boneyard" diorama.

Love that idea, but my timeframe on FAA would have the Skyrays out of service by then.

Black nose now........

Lovely !

That's one of those planes I want to build, just so I can practice some touch-and-goes on my coffee table !

Last ones for tonight.

Will dry overnight and hit it with a semi-flat tomorrow.  Dangly bits are all ready to go.  Hope that fecking canopy gap doesn't produce any problems.  Find out tomorrow!
