I'm very sorry to hear about your father, Thomas. Cancer is a vile thing indeed.
That said, in Western Europe today, 98% of those diagnosed with cancer will actually die from something unrelated, as medicine as moved fast lately. So don't lose your hope.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Thand you all for your compassion, highly appreciated. I am going to visit him today, so far no diagnosis - and that makes me nervous because the cancer could have spread from his bowels to the kidneys. But he is in good mood and has no pain.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

You have my deepest sympathies, cancer is a shock to the system. My little sister has rolled up her sleeves and got on with it, the only chemotherapy patient who actually enjoys her sessions.

Some good news: I was able to begin with photo sessions for scenic shots - even though the Vig's sheer size creates unexpected problems, my setup is not suited for such big models! But things started to move again.
My father is also back home since last week - he's fine so far and things get back to normal there, too, even though his condition lingers on. But he's fine and takes everything quite easy - dementia bliss...

Glad to hear that your Dad is home Thomas, being in a home environment can be good medicine.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thank you very much, I am also quite relieved, even though it might only be "for the moment". But that's how I try to see the situation, too - being happy with what is right now, and it's good again, being aware that it won't last. I am juts happy that I have after the past weeks found some mojo again.

Finished three photo sessions, now the tedious editing phase...  ;)
