An NZ made FROG Sealand? Oh wow, that's amazing, I never even knew FROG sent some moulds out there!  :o

Somewhere at my old house I've still got the decal sheet for my Lift Here Sealand that I built last year. It's reggie is G-AKLV, but it's the same scheme as yours. You're welcome to the decal sheet if it's of any use (and if I can find it of course........... )

Just a quick question. Have any of the denizens of this forum come across models from Meikraft, Patagonia models or Model News? If so...what have I let myself in for?!  :o  :banghead:

I've built a couple of MeiKraft kits in my time. One was a tiny 1/72 pylon racer, a Midget Mustang I think, and it was pretty good. Not sure if I have any pics if it though.

I can't remember the other one, but it may have been a cruise missile, also in 1/72., but small..............

Soooo, do you remember what material the Meikraft kit was? Only ask because it looks and feels like it can't decide if it wants to be resin or plastic!

From Jadlam's sale:

Trumpeter 1/72nd LAV-150 Commando with Cockerill 90mm gun

Wanted one of these for ages but wasn't prepared to pay £22.00 for a 1/72nd 4x4 armoured car.

Lots of whiff possibilities: you could put the turret on an M113 and put a Scorpion/Scimitar turret on the LAV.

Not even a whiff in technical terms, you could just do a gun barrel swap with a Scorpion. The Scorpion 90 with that exact gun actually went into production for export customers, and I know I've seen a pic of a LAV-150 with the Scorpion's 76mm, although I don't know if it ever sold.

Definitely styrene, but nowadays many companies are adding resin kits to their lists of course.

Just arrived, 1/72 scale IBG Fv4101 charioteer mk7. I had a read up on these, and the service life of them lines up with my operation Saladin scenario. So instead of being freezing cold in Finland, it will be baked in Africa instead.  ;D

Hya Chris, the tracks are molded as one piece with one half of the road wheels and drive wheels etc molded in too. They look good, and I like molded as one tracks, so winner winner for me.

That's what they've done previously (I have a couple of their 1/72 AFV's), but I just wanted to check.

Glad to be of assistance Chris. I like the look of their Daimler scout cars too, as they would fit in to my operation Saladin scenario too.

Received today thanks to the Jadlam sale. One Eduard 1/72 early Spitfire Vb, two Special Hobby Vampires (one Mk.I and one F.B.9) and Trumpeter's Su-24, which is considerably bigger than I was expecting but will hopefully look good in an early Tonka scheme
