The Wooksta!

Snaffled a Magna Firebrand TF.II from Kingkit.  So that's my late war strike one sorted.  TBH, I would have preferred an F.I, but I'm positive I have a second one somewhere.  I just don't know where...

First purchase from Fleabay in a longtime, but a 1/48 Kinetic F-16 to give me the spares I needed for the F-16XL that has been on the shelf of doom for nearly a year.

I received this not so small russian railroad tank today, it is in 1:72 , and i think i have a interesting drive concept for this landship ...  The design looks a bit boring, maybe it needs a little tuning.

Two examples of the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak, both 1/72. One Airfix, one Italeri. I had only intended ordering the Airfix one, but somehow the Italeri got into the cart along with it. Oh well, total price was $34 Canadian, I can afford that. Arrived today on a sturdy package, and was the first new item added to the future downstairs hobby room.

Just arrived late this afternoon from eBay

1 x 1/72 Special Hobby SH 72452 D.H. Mosquito PR Mk.XVI This was one of the parcels that I was informed was lost earlier today. Because of that, I ordered another from a different source. Despite what has been said about the kit, the parts in the box look great, with lots of spare parts, which, of course, will be very welcome in the spares box.

Received this evening by Royal Mail

1 x 1/72 Frog F203 Canberra Mk.8/12 Low Level Bomber. On Royal Mail's app, the item was initially flagged as having the wrong address, it was then flagged as being returned to sender. I don't understand what is going on with deliveries these days.

They're NOT actually happening.

The courier companies are all having a laugh at our, and their shipper's expenses and they don't give a damn really. Thus the total impossibility of making any sort of meaningful contact with them. They're just in it for the money, and when it stops coming in, as it surely will, they'll be off over the horizon like Harpoon missile.  :banghead:  :banghead:

An interesting thing about the missing item that turned up today. I had been communicating with the seller to let them know what was going on, they got back to me this evening asking if they could buy back one of the decal options  :o

Hobbies and Beyond (link), not far from me in Lindsay. They closed their shop a couple of years ago, strictly an on-line business now. Their web site looks like it was arranged by a drunken turkey, but if you can navigate it there are deals to be had. I honestly don't know if I got them at a good price or not, they had them, I wanted them, I ordered them, they sent them. They have some high-priced collectors items, makes me wish that I hadn't built that Aurora Avro Arrow 60 years ago!  ;D

The parts do look really nice, however it's a very fiddly build. I'm building the NF 30 boxing and I keep doing a little bit at a time on mine. It'll take time, but I'll get there.  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
