Gondor

Mostly packed, a few things to put away that I have been using, then tomorrow, after breakfast, it's time to play Jenga with the car and what I am trying to put in it. Various parts are packed for various members of the forum as well. The P.1121, even though not complete, is also packed so that people to look at what I am doing with the Whirlybird version of the kit. Looking forward to being there.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Just remembered another something else that I'm looking for...

The full list is now (all 1/72nd scale):

F-101B Voodoo long exhaust cans: either 1 x cheap Matchbox kit or up to 2 x aftermarket sets.

AUSTRALIAN F-111C decals. Don't care which squadron. Decal sheet or cheap kit.

Quickboost Hunter Recce Nose, QB 72129 (one-piece clear nose cone).

I had one of the Hunter recce noses but I've stupidly lost it... :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

I would like, please, to obtain the "Isabel III" script for Jack Clelands' P-51, in 1/72.
I can cobble the rest together, but the name is a problem.

I understand it's on one of the Yoxford 363rd Squadron sheets, but I have no idea which one.

If anyone has one of these to spare, it can be dropped off with Dave Stewart at the NZ SIG stand.

Thanks in anticipation.

One thing I could do with is a canopy for the F16A from the Revell F16 kit on 1/72 that came with the engine on a trolley in the prototype scheme.

I'll be on the USAF stand at SMW.

Arrived in Telford 3:00pm yesterday.   Can spend today winding down ready for the weekend.

Currently my wish list is One Bottle of MR Surfacer 500

Hopefully the Fly Tigercats will be available ? Other than that it's Lawd knows what ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm on my way tomorrow morning, with suitable comestibles, an item to deliver on behalf of Ratty in Canada, a reminder that I owe Kit a mug (of tea/Shell Tellus/coffee/battery acid/cocoa or something) and a sandwich........................................... and possibly the most revolting cold I've had for a while

The thing I was fixing up to put on the table is now fixed.

I've had stomach problems the last 24 hours, but touch-wood, I think I've got them on the retreat by acting fast.

Other than the list I've posted, I want to hit up Cozmic Models for some of their hangar workshop gear sets, I need to pick up a small order from Hannants, and I need to pick up some Blue Angels decals from Trevor and buy him a coffee or three for his trouble.

Booked into my hotel about 2:20pm today. Setteling into the room. Typical hotel, just a glorified box. Last year I had a much more interesting room, but that was a different hotel.

Oh, bother! Won't be able to make it. Family member turned poorly, will be carer-cum-ambulace-driver for the weekend plus.

Have to put the Busard in for next year's competition.

Have a good time, all.
Cheers.

Last night's catch-up with rellies I'd seen for over a year was good.  The pub must have been run by a Bristolian - piped music was Massive Attack and Portishead.

Meanwhile, this morning's Premier Inn breakfast soundtrack is Christmas song-heavy!  Weird contrast!
