NARSES2

Just a gentle reminder, but SMW 2025 is 8 weeks away this weekend. Indeed I will be traveling 8 weeks today.

So this is the place for thoughts and plans

Ah, you mean the IPMS Nats, do you?  ;D

I STILL can't think of the 'Telford Event' as 'SMW'.  :banghead:

My 'accommodation arrangements' with my daughter have already been confirmed.  ;D

I shall be in attendance, I may try and do both days this year. I found I missed loads of stuff on the club displays previously. The question is whether to stay in Telford overnight or drive back and forth to Rugby.....

I plan to be there, anything new with me is a different question.

There won't be a room to rent within 50 miles of Telford for that weekend by now!

Looks like you'll be getting very familiar with the M6 and M54.  :(

Sort of sums up my plans.  Initially intended to arrive Friday for the whole weekend (accommodation booked accordingly) but events have transpired such that it now looks like arrive Friday afternoon, stay overnight, head home after the show on Saturday.

So there's potentially a room going spare Saturday night!

If OGL needs an extra pair of hands setting up on Friday afternoon then I can plan journey times around that.

Looking forward to the show (missed it last year) and most of all meeting up with SIG/forum folk.

Assuming that elderly relatives don't get ill at the most inopportune moment, I think I'm on for Saturday at least until mid afternoon.

Seriously thinking of sending 1 or 2 models over for the table. Manchester MkIII is one candidate.

Nice one Dave, offer gratefully accepted.
If last year is anything to go by we wont be able to get in to set up on Friday untill 3, maybe 4pm (ish) so should be no real need to rush the trip up to Shropshire.

Harro. Will be good to see you again
I always hope for the best.

You can get two nights at the Mercure (under a mile away on the other side of the town centre) for £232, or £257 if you want breakfast... (oh, and £20 to park your car for 2 days as well)
