Tomorrow's mission...

You can buy ibuprofen gel over the counter here, but I've already got loads.

The knee support is a good idea. As to the gel, I've got the prescription only, ultra high strength stuff, which is much better than the gel on general sale.

Knee support bought and currently under test. Only observation so far is that I may need one for the other knee just to not feel lopsided...

It's good to not feel lopsided...  ;)

Hope you can get things sorted out.

And therein lies the internal conundrum. One side of the body is dodgy so the body angles itself to compensate which puts pressure on the other side so the body angles to compensate which puts.... ad infinitum  ;D

Autocorrect changed "eternal" to "internal" in my last post. Was going to change it but to be honest, it's probably more accurate as written!

It's an internal conundrum about the eternal conundrum... ;D

I had one dodgy/painful knee since my mid 40's (should of given up playing football when I was told to, so no sympathy required  ) and over the years the other one gradually took the strain and now it's probably in worse condition than it's compatriot. As for fixing it ? Covid scuppered the easiest way forward  :-\

A visit to your GP for some x-rays to check for arthritis is the answer. They'd rather go fix something like that than let it fester reducing your mobility and all the associated health problems that brings. At least, any doctor or healthcare professional with their head screwed on right would...

They know what it is, it's just the waiting lists just seem to get longer and longer  :-\  Procedures already been cancelled once and they think it'll be another 6 months or so. My GP is very good and I can't really moan about the hospital, it's just pressure on the NHS and waiting lists seem to be getting longer for some procedures. Although they are trying to reduce them. Lots of minor procedures getting done on Sundays for instance.

It should be noted that I'm talking about the S. London NHS and things can vary across the country.

Interesting dilema, with me focused on ships at the moment there is nothing to tempt me kit wise from Hannants this year, couple that with not many traders that cater for 1/700 ships thers not alot on the buying list this year, tools, supplies, reference material, Sadly l'Arsenal have decided not to come this year as moved from France to Morocco as they had some very tasty 1/700 3D printed aircraft I wanted to pick up especisally seafire xvii's.

The other issue is that whilst not alot at SMW there are a number of must buy models due out next month, with Trumpeters Queen Liz aircraft carrier, Starlings gun leanders, means i have to save for those so cant go and indulge in spontanious purchases either  :banghead:

So looking forward to sitting down, enjoying the show and the company.

Think energy would be better spent encouraging scautomoton to design it in 3D and develop a print process and assembly, Dorset Print man ships have not impressed me that much, as cruder printing and inaacurate features
