I've already done a very long winged Welllesley, and it's a lot smaller span than anything with 1/32 Duo Discus wings!



That has a span of around 15" but a 1/32 Duo Discus has a span of about 24".

Somewhere I have a 1/32 Revell kit of a Duo Discus sailplane (mainly because I flew one once.....) and that has some SERIOUSLY long wings! Specially if I use them to Whiff something else in 1/72.

Good news, not from the model but from my family: my father is - on very short notice - back home from hospital and doing fine so far. And I immediately have a lot more mojo in store, I even started work on the J31B again, adding a display holder and experimenting with outrigger wheels from a Matchbox Harrier.
