Thanks for the early warning Geoff. I may be able to twin it with a trip to see the tribe

Is it still the Tough Sheet Stadium?  ;D  ;D  ;D

Looked at hotels and trains   Now just need to confirm if the tribe are around week before or after.

Spoken to the tribe, so can confirm current plans are :-

Travel up on the Saturday, stay overnight at the Premier Inn by the venue, show Sunday, overnight at the hotel and then train to Sunderland on the Monday.

Will book in the next day or two.

I may join you on this one but do be aware of changing stations at Wigan. All of a 2 minute stroll!

On the Sunday going south there is a Rail Replacement Bus between Northampton and Milton Keynes.

I'm still looking at my options for the Journey up. As for the replacement bus ? I'm staying in Horwich on the Sunday night. Talk to you about it at the London Show

The Wooksta!

IPMS Tyneside is booked in, so I should be there.

Right, that's sorted and what a palaver that was

As it's "Up North" I thought I'd combine it with a trip to see the tribe the following week. So that involves tickets from 4 different train companies and 2 hotel bookings. Each train company's website functioned in a different way so there was 45 minutes of my life I won't get back again. When I rule the World   ;)

And before anyone says it, I'm fully aware that there are companies like "Train Line" where you can sort it all out on one website, however you don't get as good deal as buying direct. I know they say you do, but you don't.

Depending if the train stops at Horwich parkway or not, I may be able to get there direct from Barrow in Furness. I won't be able to stay for long, but could be worth it just to catch up with you lot. It's been a fair few years since I saw you Chris /NARSES2. Think it was the one and only time I was went to Telford.

Barrow in Furness is one change, at Bolton, mate. Be good to see you if you can do it

I will try and make it, was hoping the train would stop at Horwich, as it would make things easier for me.

It is unlikely that I will be there this year. The last few months have been expensive. Have fun

I shall be attending. Will drive up and down on the day I think. What's the likelihood of getting in a few mins early to put some stuff on the table?

Been looking at the list of attendeees. Quite impressive

Does anyone know if any of them are likely to be selling those AK paint pen thingies ?
