HELP

Right I'm staying at the Premier Inn in Horwich near the venue on Saturday and Sunday nights. Do any of the locals, or those who know the area know if there's a pub near the venue ?

As far as I can tell the nearest one is a couple of miles away ? Even the hotel only appears to do breakfast and no dinner, although I find that odd, and may just be down to them not advertising their evening menu ? I find it odd that a football stadium doesn't have somewhere to get a pint within walking distance.

At the moment it's looking like a cab or a couple of nights in  :banghead:

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looks like Tyneside is where we usually are, and not tucked away in a dark corner upstairs.  Although it is nice and warm up there, as opposed to the cafe area where you have to fight off marauding Polar Bears trying to come in out of the cold.

I am currently looking for a Short Sturgeon, preferably Magna but the Contrail one will do.  If anyone spots one, please let me know.  I am now regretting selling my spare Sturgeon PR2 some years back.  There was something else I was looking for, but cannot remember what it was.

Dumbass question, how can I become a member of What-if group, I'm not an IPMS member?

Which Premier Inn are you staying at West at the top of the road or stadium next to train station and stadium ?

Speak to Martin H via PM.  Don't worry about non-IPMS membership, we don't really give a toss about officialdom.

One by the station/stadium Geoff. It's more convinient for me both on Saturday and Monday.

There is a Harvester across from the Hotel, for immediate food and beer requirements, on the other side of the Stadium up the steps is the Middlebrook retail park, which has a number of chain restaurants/bars near the Cinema

I don't think I will be able to get there on Sunday, as I will be leaving the dog for too long.
