We all go through spells like that.  ;D It's why the "Stash" is a never ending cycle of growth  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well, my stash count is currently at 325 kits and i've just reserved a few more...
TBH, i don't have much on my watchlist at the moment and the buying of complete kits will be slowing down soon for sure but there will be more details about that in my blog thread soon.

Yep, the Fulcrum family is gorgeous and although my favorite is the 9.13, the 9.19 is also very interesting. I have the 1/48 G.W.H. kits of both variants  but the Trumpeter 72nd kits also look very good in the box and i will probably also buy their 72nd 9.13, of which i have the inferior ICM kit.
I'm also hoping Trumpeter will make the Mig-35 to complete the family.

I have the Great Wall Hobby 9.19 in my stash. I knew that spreadsheet would come in useful one day. I really should get around to reading the big red book, Famous Russian Aircraft, about the aircraft; otherwise the later versions are a bit of a muddle.

Well, there are a few but from what i find on the web, the most recent variants are the ones with the twin seater type of canopy. The M/M2 are available as newly built airframes or upgrade packages for older -29 variants and then there's the naval -29K and the most recent -35, which is supposed to replace the M variants in production. These have quite a few differences on the airframe itself, including bigger wings and stabs so i expect Trumpeter to come out with the 1/72 kits, seeing that Hobbyboss already released the -29K and -35 in 1/48.

It's been odd that a proper Mig-29K in 72nd hasnt appeared, especially as we have the naval Flankers, Frogfoot and Freehand in decent kit form

Indeed... but as i previously said, i believe that, eventually we'll see the later variants coming out from either Trumpeter or Zvezda.
I say Trumpeter cause i think it's the company who has the best Fulcrum kits out there right now and by that, maybe they're ahead of the competition?
Zvezda actually seems like the obvious company to make them first as they're Russian and they also have decent kits of the Fulcrum 9.12/13/19 in 72nd...

Indeed!

I did a procurement round at the Art in Miniature show in Gothenburg yesterday, and I carried out all too many as usual. In my defence, most of these are second hand, and dirt cheap too, but still.. I'll never get around to build all of my stash regardless.. But buying is fun too, one has to admit.

Well, on to the catch, then:

First, the definitive (so far) F-105D in Gods own scale, the Revellogram Thud. What a catch at only £8,50, corresponding.
Know Trumpy makes one too, but I think these are better, actually. So bite me..;)

Next, an Emhar Starfire. I've been after one for years, but they've been few and far between, and when I've seen them, they've been expensive. This one - same price as the Thud above!

Further, a twin set Kawasaki T4's. @Dizzyfugu is to blame, but I needed one to build my own Sk90 version. Now I have two. Maybe there'll be a foreign one too, then..
There were ca £26, and I can't really say whether that's pricey or not as I haven't ever seen these in Sweden before.

Also this recce Foxbat followed me home. At £26, not cheap, but not expensive either. These very nice ICM kits are pricey, but worth it, imho. Also, not to forget, the only game in town.  This might end up as a German, post 1991 take-over.

Next, I believe @NARSES2 is to blame, if I remember correctly. Someone suggested building that speculative AI SAAB A36 bomber on a Hustler fuselage, and here we are. We'll see where things end up, eventually.

Finally, something I'd never thought I'd buy, actually. Partly because it'll be BIG once built, but mainly because it's absolutely unreasonably pricey. Given what you get, I'm not sure it's expensive, but God knows it dug a substantial hole in my pocket. However, checking those international prices I could find, adding freight, this was a do or die moment, as I realised that while paying nigh on £150(!), I still saved over £50 compared to shipping one home on my own. So I took the plunge, and here we are. Scary, but fun.

I've got both Monogram and Trumpeter F-105Gs and I agree. Quite apart from the moulding quality, the Monogram -G has the split ECM pods as separate components, (whereas the Trumpy has them moulded in), which means you can built it as a -G or a -F, or in my case (eventually) a -K... ;)

Having gone through the kit catch, this is what £5 bought me in decals:

South American post war fighters, yeah? I might actually sell those on, but they've came with the lot, so who am I to argue..
Also, some of the Finnish awastikas might have to find a new home as they're out of my period ob building. But I really like laying my paws on the roundels and lettering.

Super useful Norwegian and Danish sheets as well, not least given some SAAB plans, and also a very nice refill of Swedish code numbers. Happy chappy!

Pellson, you and I have similar ideas. I too have a Kawasaki T4, thanks to Dizzyfugu, only mine will be French. Stalled as I was unhappy with the finish to the undersides. I need to get airbrushing to get a good finish and so that the build can progress. I also have the ICM Foxbat, and I was sort of thinking the same as yourself, but I can't remember if it was this aircraft or a different version I was going to do as East German, I do remember that it was going to be camouflaged.

PR19_Kit

Somewhere I have a nice resin conversion for the recce Foxbat, designed for the Revell kit I think. I have an idea it's by Pavla.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Pellson! What a haul of decals... Much to like. I think I have one of the Danish decal sheets. Of the others, the Norwegian decals suggest a few whiffs, a Lansen and Viggen for starters and perhaps an BAe Hawk. There is also a sheet of Finnish letters and numbers in black too.
