From Hannants:

Caesar Miniatures 1/72nd Moder Western Tank Crews Set 1 - Germany & Israel
Why? Because with a different paint job, the Germans will make servicable astronaut crew for my Von Braun ship (there are ZERO figures of "shirt-sleeves" astronauts).

Also some masking sets:

Eduard 1/72nd Airfix Beaufighter
Eduard 1/72nd Airfix Beaufort
2x Eduard 1/72nd Airfix Phantom FGR.2
New Ware 1/72nd Airfix Sea King HC.4

From ebay:

Cheap copy of Doctor Who - The Interactive Electronic Board Game
Why? Because it's got a nice plastic TARDIS in it. Also got 6 x 35mm high Daleks in it, which have possibilities...

Bought that Heller J29E Tunnan I mumbled about the other day, and as said, it's to be transformed into a side-by-side trainer inspired by a similar project by our own @Dizzyfugu
And as the same seller happened to shift a ridiculously cheap Heller JA37 Viggen, that went into the same package.

Yes, it's starting to get out of hand, this SAAB frenzy...

Needs a guy in a brown cloak deflecting all the Dalek's shots with a laser-sword while a guy with pointy ears in a blue top scratches his chin, raises an eyebrow and says, "hmm. Illogical..."

I have only a mild case having bought a Special Hobby AJ37 a few weeks ago.

I scored a Scalextric 1/32 De Lorean slot car.
$45 from Mighty Ape, and free postage as I'm a Primate member.

It's the version with 50s whitewalls and the stuff on the bonnet, but those can be replaced easily enough.
And the other versions were twice the price, even with discount - so why wouldn't you?

And a 60ml bottle of Vallejo Olive Drab to keep it company - again, half price.  <_<

Good idea, and curious how your stunt turns out. I implanted the cockpit from an Airfix D.H. venom trainer, and it was quite a challenge - but looks very good and plausible!

Yep. I read up on your thread, but I will most likely use something else as a donor for the cockpit and canopy. I'll keep you all posted once I'm getting started.

Not really a stash item but still a good buy ..I brought this .
Vallejo 70143 Model Colour Imperial Roman 16 Colour Acrylic Paint Set.
It was $73 NZ but since they sell for 6 bucks each it's a bloody good saving 👌 👍
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

As long as its colours you use...

...which having just looked at what's in the set, they would be.  Good buy.

I just got a box from www.thepartsbox.com containing 1/25 resin car parts  - exhaust headers, transmissions, rear axles, universal joints, and wheels tubs.
And I got a box from BNA containing 1/72 (natch) Eduard weapons resin - all Soviet.  Four different AAMs of various vintage and helicopter ASMs.

And then other times I think 'Oh YEAH!'  ;D

On Monday my stash grew by one (1) Italeri 1/48 Tornado IDS 311o GV RSV (2766) - Interesting decal sheet(s) ... Anyone want them? Because I don't.

https://www.italeri.com/en/product/2597

Each sheet is approximately A4 size (maybe a tad smaller).

And this evening I just ordered the following;

1 x Inside the Armour 1/35 L7 GPMG [2pcs] with Folded/Deployed Bipods (ITA335047)
4 x Inside the Armour 1/35 Modern Bren 2 Rifles [4pcs] (ITA335034)
1 x Inside the Armour 1/35 Modern Rifle Optics and Accessories (ITA335038)
2 x Inside the Armour 1/35 British Cold War L1A1 [3pcs] L1A2 [LMG x1pc] Rifles (ITA335037)
1 x FC Model Trend 1/35 British Airborne Heads with Mk.II Helmet (FC-37274)
1 x Heller 1/48 SEPECAT Jaguar A Attack Aircraft (HEL-80428)
1 x AMMO by Mig Jimenez - Thinner and Cleaner with Retarder (60ml) for ATOM Acrylic Paints (ATOM-20511)
1 x AMMO by Mig Jimenez - Acrylic Paint, ATOM Colour #IJA Nakajima Green [20ml jar] (ATOM-20076)
1 x AK Interactive - Acrylic Paint 3rd Gen for Aircraft, IJN M3 N Nakajima Interior Green [17ml] (AK-11897)
1 x AK Interactive - Acrylic Thinner [100ml, 3rd Generation] (AK-11500)

The Tornado & the Jaguar are going to be ... introduced ... to a set of wings & whichever looks, to my eye, the better combination will be joined in Unholy Matrimony within the not too distant future.  ;)

I'm picturing a swing wing Jag with my mind's eye.  It has the vibe of a twin engine MiG 23/27...

Tonka fin would overwhelm the Jag wings IMO.
