Ha, indeed, which is why I reckon there's room for at least 2 more up there. Should cover me for at least another 2 years....

Just a few items at the Thornbury Show today.

Couple of F111 bits. A 3d printed bomb bay and the ancient C Scale F111F conversion set.

But the surprise of the day was to get five of the 1960's Humbrol Bundesbahn colours. All appear to be still usable which is good for paint over 50 years old.

And we often buy kits just for the decals.  ;D

Any info on the brand and trader that was selling the F-111 bomb bay?

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I have.............  ;D

Same here

Yep - bought several KP SF-260s and an Alouette III for their Irish decals. I suppose you could count the couple of Motorhead He-111s as "bought for the decals" too, since I otherwise have no interest in He-111s.

Just noticed something about these: the nose gear doors are on the clear sprue... I have no explanation for this.

It is a bit strange, especially as there are no lights in them or shining through them.

Caught a Hasegawa Draken off Evilbay for ca £13! Unreasonably cheap given it's the best Draken kit out there by far and away. And even more puzzling as I witnessed a fairly recent casting of the venerable and rather awful Airfix J35F Draken go for well over £25 just half an hour later.
The world is weird..
