The cockpit is proving to be a real *%**(*&(*

The canopy opening mechanism - that unique F-5/F-20 style one - is designed to be done in the open position, and as it doesn't hinge/fold, getting it into the shut position is proving problematic.  I know other builders on ARC have had the same problem with this kit.  I can't just leave it off as that leaves a big hole behind the bang seat

Looking good Nev - with those wings it looks almost like a small/cheap F22 ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

nice one Nev, even with the big wings  ;)

Underneath.

Should get her primed today, and painted up in the next week or 2 (famous last words)

I really like the look of her with the 3 underwing pylons.

I decided to cut off the wingtip rails, partly to alter the look slightly, partly cos I broke the ends of them off  :P

no Nev, the wingtip rails were removed by Northrop due to their drag-inducing qualities...  ;)

looking good!

Ollie

You should have left them on, they act as blanking plates and give the aircraft a better rate of roll.

Re-F-104 with the AIM-9s that could turn faster than without...

Good job, keep it up!

Looks like a serious wingload of potential ordnance, eh?

Wow!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.
