Buddy from Oz sent me all of this aside from the Tu-204 (And the grey partially built model upper right, that shouldn't be in the picture at all but I goofed  ;D ).

The 204 I've been looking for for a long time. Been waiting to find one in the U.S. and for cheap enough..... and it had to be this Russia Post System (whatever they call it) special version. Very neat! It's like... a Russian 757 or something. And, check this out... when it comes time to make it.. it'll be easy!!! NO BLASTED WINDOWS TO WORRY ABOUT and it's all one solid color (aside from the wings).

The other stuff is really neat! My buddy and I had been kind trading kits or whatever and he decided to throw in extras for the hell of it, basically.  ;D  All I really was directly concerned about was the Fokker 100.

That's in there, but I also found what appears to be some Russian made SEA FURY kit. Score... I've none in the stash.

Next up a Fairey Fulmar by a kit maker I never heard of. Score again!! I don't have one in my stash.

Then there is the one and only kit I already have, a 1/144 Constellation. As luck would have it, I am very much happy to have multiples of this one so... score again! Now I have what I need to make a real world one and a whif one.

Then there is what turned out to be a Matchbox Halifax! How cool is that? Quite the chunk of parts, that one. Again, I don't have one in my stash so I'm pretty happy about that.

5 sheets from Micro Scale that have some stuff gone, but still containing complete schemes.

One other thing, I bought a wee N-scale truck to go with my 1/144 airliner universe. I'm contemplating painting it PSA(airline) colors like this stuff:

I, however, am having second thoughts upon receiving this thing, though.  ;D

"Oh, that's not so bad." You might say...    But then again:

I still don't even think this does it justice. It's very small!  Perfect, though, because at 1/148 it's so close to 1/144 to be imperceptible. Could be even more so using forced perspective in taking pics.

So that's it...   not many kits coming my way these days but man it's fun when they do!  ;D

However, it is one of my favourite kits (i've built two in the past).  Having four go karts I may have to whiff up a six wheeled Tyrrell-a-like...

I LIKE that idea, and you could do a March (or Williams)-a-like with the other two. And with twin engines as well.

Or howabout something like the Pat Clancy Special, a six-wheel Offy-powered Kurtis based oddball.  ;D

A GINORMOUS box from Chrisonord arrived this morning containing a 1/72 Trumpeter Tu-95MS Bear-H kit. It looks a veritable cornucopia of styrene in there, packed NINE sprues deep, it is!  :o

Thanks Chris, nice job.

That kit is glorious. Quite the pile of parts.  ;D    I have it and the Tu-160... the 160 is even more nutty. The box is ridiculously heavy and large... sooooo much plastic.

Are you going to build it soon, please say yes?

Who can tell? I've got SO much on my plate just now that my modelling has come to a grinding halt recently.  :banghead:

Perhaps I could graft the B-52s surplus engines onto the Bear? Or put the Bear's turbo-props onto the B-52? After all, it was designed like that in the first place!  ;D

Today  arrived  an airfix  folland gnat  that I  got for anfiver from someone on Facebook.  Very old kit, bagged  red stripe packaging a bit scruffy  but the kit seems ok, not bad for a fiver.  Also from Japan  a Hasegawa  weapons set  4 for much  cheapness,  even  including the  postage  it was a lot cheaper  than buying  from anyone on Ebay.  Tjis has some  1960's  ordnance  I  need for my weapons testing establishment  aircraft.

From an Evil-Bayer in Japan for an acceptable price.
Ginga Frances by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr
It contains canopy masks - something i've never had in a Hasegawa kit before.
It's a limited edition tie in with a Manga by Leiji Matsumoto but it was also the cheapest Ginga on Evil-Bay when I went looking for one.

Today arrived the evil that is the eduard aim-9b 's.  The photo  etch didn't bget a look in as rhe rear fins on them are transparent they are that thin. Going to  have  to be careful with them.  Also a much  cheapness  revell repoped monogram  f-4 s. I  know that I have  too many phantoms,  but ot was cheap, detail is a bit iffy, but it will be getting  cut up no doubt,  and  serve the RAF, or possibly  the Honduras airforce.  Also,  an airfix  F-105f the two seat version,  I built one  as a kid so the nostalgia  kicked in again
This will be  a loan aircraft  to the  RAF for evaluation,  and if any good  will serve  in Germany, carrying  nuclear  bombs.  This will be in a 1960's  camouflage scheme,  so possibly  a Canberra  squadron will have  it.

I haven't opened the bag but it looks to be the same stuff eduard use.  I've had some very poor paper ones in the past on japanese car kits.  They don't have any stretch and don't come off the windscreens easilly when you have finished.

So... after the "Engines - More or Less GB" a "Wheels - More or Less GB"?

<...>
1:35 AFV club M35A1 gun truck, for the 50 cal mount

Oh, good thinking!  I've been on the look-out for the Dragon M45/M55 quad-mount for a while now. Could kick myself for not getting any when they were cheap and plentiful.  :banghead:

What are you going to put the turret on?

<....> revell repoped monogram  f-4 s. I  know that I have  too many phantoms,  <...>

That's impossible.
Cheers,
