Make sure you write a review.  I suspect parts fit may need a little work... ;)

as I was heading out, Mrs  SP told me to take a second rucksack, as wile kits were light they are bulky, and she didn't want me struggling getting anything home,  I love having a wargaming and modelling wife

Jealous! ;D

My wife's been in a grump with me all weekend because, for the first time in ages, I've dedicated most of it to modelling.

I made my own model kit out of spares. It is a new addition to my stash, so, IT COUNTS.  ;D ;D

I joke a wee bit, but I'm also completely serious. I, meticulously, scoured my spare parts and managed to gather up a complete aircraft. I'll make a thread for it soon, but there are some details here if anyone is interested to read about it:

Neo: How can that be?
MtY: I don't know man, I didn't do it.

Waiting for me at home last week, 2x Brazmod RB211's for my twin engined VC-10 (nil progress )
1x AZ models Chipmunk T.10 (for dad's first solo, many years ago) and Xtradecals X72123 for Hunter T.7's for use with my two recently acquired Freightdog Hunter P.1101 tandem seat Hunter conversion.
Ordered this week for pick up in the U.K. as we are visiting my parents, a Re-stock of Xtracolor RAF colours and another AZ Models Chipmunk (with Lycoming engine) I think its a resin extra but the kit cost the same as the other versions

Regards
Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

At the club meeting tonight:

Two of us split the Falcon 1/72 FAA canopy set - we both got the particular ones we were wanting plus handy extras, so both win!

Most of a Matchbox Lysander - no canopy, prop or interior framing bits.
To be a Whiffed in-service Delanne version, possibly... but I now have it on hand if I ever want to!

And the raffle was the new Ebbro 1/48 HondaJet.
I didn't win, but when I asked the fella that did if I could look in the box, he asked me if I'd like it!  :o
After a couple of minutes of "Are you Sure?" and "Wouldn't you like to think about it a bit?", I came home with the kit.

Result, I know what I'm giving the Brother-in-Law for Christmas!
(One of an ongoing series of 1/48 civil a/c models he now has)

So a successful night!  ;D
