The one I saw was back in the 1960's (I'm thinking early 60's too) --- so couldn't be the newer replica.  My Dad only took us anywhere if it was a ' special occasion', but I can't remember what it was

Bovington has a modern replica of an A7V, but it was only built in 2009 according to Wikipedia.

The Germans copied Mephisto, the sole surviving A7 in Brisbane back in the early 1990s IIRC.   They then built an accurate replica which they have on display in Germany.  I am unsure if they created more, which is perhaps what the Bovington one might be.

No, the Bovington one was built by a British company who specialise in restoring old military vehicles. Looking at it, it's very convincing, but the tracks are much too thin. This doesn't seem to inconvenience it much though, since it's structure is apparently mostly plywood... ;D

Ebay says I've won several Sword Spitfires - a IXe and a Vc RAAF - and a CMR Seafire FR47.  The latter is one of the 1996 toolings, and thus is correct for a Spitfire 24 - this is one I always keep an eye out for and I've acquired quite a few over the years.

A very cheap Heller 1:72 Ar 96 joined the pile. Considering an RAF livery, as recently cooked up by PantherG.

My restock of PPP arrived from Northern Beaches Hobby Centre via Evil-Bay.
And because one never just buys one thing from a Hobby Shop it was accompanied by a Zvezda 1/72 medieval lifeboat.

And today a parcel from Hobby Link Japan.
This contained  the following.
Meng Pick Up by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr
This is an (unlicensed) Toyota HiLux in 1/35.  It comes complete with everything shown on the box art.  I will be building it as the escort vehicle for the KrAz truck towing the D9 Dozer.

Bandai Tiltrotor Pack by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr
I got these for kit bashing.  What Dizz didn't tell us when he used them on his Kamen Tiltrotor was that  each set contains two spare sets of rotors.  Woohoo!

I've been so strapped for money that I've not been buying any model stuff. These are only the 3rd and 4th kits the entire year (I do believe.... only others where the Seneca and Beluga if not mistaken). Also, bought a circle cutter for making round masks.

I don't often use my Olfa circle cutter, but when I do it's a good tool  Works well on thin plasticard as well.

LOTS of very expensive ink cartridges for my various printers.  :banghead:

The manufacturers are surely milking the market for older printers, I reckon the cartridges are now THREE times as expensive as they were when I first bought the printers.

Tell me about it mate ! My old printer (10 years old or more ?) has finally given up printing colour (ok for black) so I'm looking for a new, basic and cheapish one. One of the things I'm factoring in is refill costs.

Last couple of years I've been using Clas Ohlson refill's. Not as cheap as some but they fill them up so they do last and are excellent value.
