IIRC there was a missile on each side. I canít imagine that little chopper lifting them.

Box art is funky-weird! The missile (even if only one) looks too big & the pilot too small, he can't even see over the dash!

The first thought that went through my head when I saw Brad's post was "That looks like a Cessna with a rotor chunked on top", so at least it looks like a Cessna ... sorta. :o

I believe the idea was that this helicopter was supposed to resupply Hawk missile batteries. Doesnít appear to have been successful.

I received three kits from The Big Gimper yesterday. An F-16XL, ESCI F-5A and an F-23, all 1/72nd scale. Thanks mi amigo! Now to decide which to build first.

I am not much into car model, but I have a soft spot for kei cars (since I own and drive one). Stumbled in a local Japanese book store across this cuty, an 1:32 Daihatsu Mira delivery van:

The markings for a fish dealer are cute, too - I could not resist (for EUR 15,-)...  The scale is odd, though.

Perhaps so, but as a Whiffmaster you have before you the vast prairies of scaleorama.  Build as 1/24 child's toy, 1/35, 1/48 as reasonably normal or even a 1/72 pantechnicon.......or in 1/144 as an advertising oddity.

1/32 isn't unusual for car kits (also trucks and buses).  It's the "usual" scale for slot cars.

I'm not surprised.  :o

The Seneca's disposable load was only just over 1000 lbs, and just one Hawk weighed  1290 lbs! All data from Wikipedia.

Despite that, it seems the Seneca still holds the World Altitude record for piston engine helicopters at almost 30000 ft!  :o

Most of the car stuff comes in 1:24/25 scale. 1:32 is not too exotic, yes, but IMHO quite unusual.
