Only bought one kit at the Bolton show today. More of a stash reduction to be honest though as I sold 9 kits from the stash.

One of them was the Canberra I bought wasn't it?  ;D

My Bolton additions.

1 Airfix Phantom FG-1.
2 Airfix Phantom FGR-2.
1 Airfix Seaking HAR-3.
1 Italeri YF-12.

The tooms were added as they were well under the normal retail price.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

1 x Trumpeter 1/350 USS Wasp LHD-1 Amphibious Assault Ship (TR 05611)

Man, the box for this is BIG! :o

Not as long as Intrepid's box (close, though) but just as wide & almost twice as deep.

Stirling models 1/700 HMS Alliance 1966 water line sub
Stirling models 1/700 HMS Porpoise water line sub

Waterline subs ? That's interesting, do they come with a base or do you need to provide your own ? (I did have a look on line but couldn't find them using Google.

Me and Milady went on a week long holiday trip. First we went to the north of Portugal, Porto, or Oporto as it's called in English, i believe. There i visited one of the oldest toy stores in Portugal, open for business for more than a century...  :o Had to buy something so i brought the Monogram 1/48 F-5F in a Revell box.
Then we flew to Malta and there we visited the Malta aviation museum where i bought a 1/72 Red Arrows Hawk so i can say it was a good trip...  ;D

Oh yeah, brotha, i love these skinny little things. ;D
It's an older kit like the 1/48 Italeri Kfir i bought past December but it was 24 and besides being an old kit, it's got a very cool decal sheet and from what i've read in reviews of the kit, it was considered the best F-5F in any scale up to 2010.

Some of us older members might recognise it as Oporto, but I think it's been known as Porto in the UK for many a year now. Lovely part of the world

Glad you had a good trip

I  calculate that as 900 or so miles.  NULL  ARBOR, as the Romans would say, is indeed no trees but (as the Romans didn't say) is a 300 mile dead straight railway line.  I'm sure there is some Whiffery potential here.

Totally forgot to mention that I got a bag of goodies from Narses, in the shape of some modern aircraft ordnance, which had some very nice and useable anti ship missiles

Thanks, mate!! It was a good week, lots of fun indeed.
I've seen it written as Oporto a few times before, mostly on stuff related to the region's wine so i'm used to both.
The city was a bit shady a few years ago because of the drug related crimes that plagued the downtown area near the Douro river but, it's been cleaned up and most of the old buildings that were almost in ruins, have been refurbished or rebuilt. Almost all of the addicts that ruined the area were put in prison or rehab centers and now, it's an almost 100% crime free city has there are more police officers patrolling the streets keeping citizens and tourists safe.

Delivered today, another Hasegawa 1/72 F-16I SUFA, bought to use as parts donor for the Lonestar resin parts F-16XL twin seat conversion set.

The F-16XL conversion sets are made to use with Hasegawa's F-16 kits so i'll need the canopy, landing gear bay doors, air intake and a bunch of other small bits to complete it.
