Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Now I think about it, I have a kit of the 'Hopeless Diamond' somewhere in The Loft. Darned if I can remember who did it though, one of the low production companies a few years back. I'll have to dig it out.

No, it's a vacform. Maybe Unique-craft?

Unicraft generally do resin kits. Scalemates lists a Hopeless Diamond from MDH, a company I've never heard of.

Anigrand only did the Have Blue.

On another different note, Mikro-Mir have announced the Nordenfelt I, II/III & IV submarines in 1/144. They've already done the Resurgam, which will be all of Rev. George Garret's steam powered designs I believe. The four would make a nice R&D project and could also be useful for steam punk-ery as well as useful shapes for other whiffery.

I'll probably end up getting a Ju 388 when it comes out as I've always liked the look of it, and as for the P.193 I've built a resin example, but it's good to see an I.M. one

Those subs are interesting, if I'm honest I wasn't even aware of them.

Question. How does one land the P.193?

Lightly and flatly, unless you want to break your landing gear, fin, and prop.

Just had a look and I built the Planet one back in 2021. Nice looking aircrat, so might get another.

You could wiff the P. 193 some more, by putting the tail fin on the top and the tail wings angled downwards.

It didn't have a rotating tail, the vertical stabilizer/rudder was triangular and pivoted
at the leading point. It only moved in the vertical plain. The rotating tail thing is a
myth.
