Pass ???

The round-ish 'growth spots'...  ;)

That, or the water you're using for the transfers badly needs replacing...  ;D

I did wonder if the reference was to the 187, but wasn't sure ?

Yes, the "smoke rings".

Well, that one obviously went wide of the mark!  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

No, we got it, but the Aircraft I.D. needed work...  ;)

Oh, good grief!  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

It becomes even more embarrassing when you know that I have a Fw.187 in the stash, directly behind me as I type, which is in line to (maybe) be built (fairly) soon!     :banghead:

Quote from: NARSES2 on May 30, 2026, 05:06:28 AMI now need to start assembling the 98. Now yes I know I've painted it, but the fit is so good that I was able to paint the fuselage and booms separately. Made painting/masking the booms in particular so much easier.

Now we just pray that the paint hasn't messed with the fit.

I've been very, very careful to avoid mating services, but prayers will still be said before I start assembly  ;) But it made the booms so much easier to paint.

A little bit of scrapping here and there and it all went together beautifully

Be on pause for a couple of weeks or so now as I'm travelling

The Wooksta!

Was a good show, apart from various club members being selfish a......  I'll stop venting, it's something I'm very bitter about right now.

No progress as I was away last week "Ooop North" and I'm away this week "not so far Ooop North", but hopefully will get them finished upon my return. Determined to finish the Ki if at all possible in time for the GB deadline

Went to the National Railway Museum in York yesterday, absolutely fantastic

Only issue was the walk from the hotel to it, which made you walk in a huge circle around building works to get to it, and no pubs on the route.   ;) Not good for five 70 year olds   So we got the kiddies "Chuff, chuff, choo, choo"* back to the Minster and waved at the tourists.

A Thomas the Tank style people mover  ;D
