Continued to make some progress on the shelf queen over the last couple of days, also begane to remember why it was "the shelf"  . Progress has ground to a halt now hoever as I'm off to Brussels with some old school mates for a week. 5 Old Farts on Tour

Mind you the way the world is going this morning and bearing in mind we're off to Belgium (as did our fathers & grandfathers) I do wonder if we should hang out the departing train's windows, wave to the camera and sing "it's a long way to Tipperary" or maybe "pack up your troubles"

Very nice, I once went there when I was in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force for a weekend.

There's a movie in there, somewhere! 

Oh believe you me there's a series. Been going on these short breaks since we were 17. Did I ever tell you about the cells in Torquay Police Station ?    Very comfortable 

How you ended up in the cells is probably more interesting than how comfortable they were.

Oh yes, I've been there too, or at least to the entrance hall anyway.

Just STANDING there triggered an asthma attack and I backed out very quickly!

If anyone is in Brussels over the next couple of months then go to the "200th Anniversary of Jules Verne Experience". All 5 Old Farts considered it the best place we visited 

As an aside I'm sure that when we visited the "Museum of Fine Arts" - after we'd found it, and there in lies a tale  - they had some young lady undercover officer follow us around. Everytime I looked there was this rather attractive filly within line of site. What they thought we were going to nick is beyond me
