Triple Typhoon tribute.

Three Typhoon sets with special schemes, paired with a (Hawker) Typhoon, Hurricane and Tucano. I believe the (Eurofighter) Typhoon in each set is the recent starter kit.

I don't believe the Tucano has been released in a while so a chance to get that kit, if you're happy to get the Typhoon too.

I like all THERE of those, but do I need three Typhoons?

I'm in the market for an FGR. 4 Typhoon certainly but, not a simplified  starter set kit😐. If it had been a full fat version, multi option kit with loads of things that go bang, I'd be interested but, not otherwise.

I actually think that "Black jack" scheme is hideous. Very cheap and tacky looking. Is that really the best they could do? 😂

Still, no doubt a good marketing ploy. Id have thought they'd all be the same price though

Has the Airfix Typhoon mold been upgraded? I got two back when they first appeared just to find them woefully inadequate from a shape point of view.

Shape wise, it looks pretty much like a Typhoon to me so, I see no problem there.😊
 Its a new(2025) tooling but,
I find it woefully inadequate from an options point of view. No weapons, no two seat option, no alternative markings. It's a simplified starter set, not a proper kit. A missed opportunity I think.

That's about $AU80.  Not too bad given the size of the box.

I wonder if there will be enough interest for someone aftertmarket to put together a full load of period cars and passengers?

British N gauge cars and passengers would be close, that's 1/148 scale, just a hop and a skip from 1/144.

As I know from another project, cars are available a-plenty, but a good selection of motorbikes is hard to find.

i cant wait to get my hands on that hovercraft, i can use the cars for my airport diorama build.
the hovercraft itsself would look good in Soviet Navy colors with a few BTR80's and T-72 tanks inside

This page may be useful, it shows the size differences between the three versions
of N; 1/148(UK), 1/150(Japan) and 1/160(North America/Europe).
