Cheeky! That's right above my house ;D. I was cloud watching in the garden and saw a plane about to put in the last spoke so popped in and grabbed my camera. First time for me too.

SKY SPIDERS

That's residual vapour overspill from a recent wormhole closure.
Looks like six or maybe seven craft came through.
Any unusual events in your neck of the woods recently?  Abductions, crop circles, politicians telling the truth, that sort of thing...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Just now, 2105 BST, an RAF Atlas (A400M) came over here at a STUPIDLY low altitude, and it's heading your way Mr Rheged.

Those props make the most unearthly racket too, but perhaps it was heavily loaded as I'm sure they didn't sound like that when I've heard them at airshows before. now.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I heard it, but didn't see it.  it sounded low and ridiculously loud!

It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

I have never thought of the Atlas as particularly loud, even when they come over the house at circuit height.
We have had one flying instrument approaches, here at Prestwick, all morning, and while the Atlas is not loud it does have a rather distinctive sound to it. Certainly it makes it easy to know what is in the area even if you can not see it.
