-NH-90 (plannning a half-whiff Belgian version in 1/72)

:D I'll bite!

After the Harrier and Hawk I'd like to do the following:

- RCN Super Corsair, the mock up pics are somewhere on the boards...Grey over white scheme as worn by the RCN Sea Furies

- SAAF Mitsubishi F-1, this one will be in my favorite camo the late Mirage F-1AZ colour scheme...

- SAAF F-47N Thunderbolt in Korea, NMF and wearing the 2nd Sqn. markings of Miss Marionuchi (sp?)

Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Have an entire spreadsheet to keep track of it all but, some basic ideas:
- Twin-engined Starfighter (don't know if I'll raise the wings, Lancer-style, or not)
- P-40 in three-tone USN scheme c/w folding wings, tailhook, etc.
- F-20 TigerShark but with delta wing configuration
- DC-3 bomber variant
- P-47 SeaBolt ™ with floats still underway
- P-38 style built out of P-51 Mustang parts
- Gripen with "regular" wings
- Triple rotor set heavy-lift cargo helo (Soviet, of course!)
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Like a B-18 Bolo or B-23 Dragon perhaps?  ;)

I've always been a big fan of the B-18 & B-23. Maybe one day I'll find an injection molded kit in 1/72 or 1/144. I've had limited success bashing them from the venerable Minicraft 1/144 DC-3 (a B-18 fuse is thinner than a DC-3 and of course the nose and cockpit are different too).

Best of luck on these projects, Mr Howling Mouse and please keep your fellow whiffers updated.

-Currently working on a B-29A with Canards, the wings pushed back some, engines reversed to become pushers, no central tail plane, BEAR style counter rotating props, wing-tip dihedral similar to that found on an He-162.  I have no idea what to call it.

-F-8 Crusader in Blue Angel markings
-F-20 Tigershark with IAF markings and modifications
-TPZ-1 with M1 Bradley turret
-F-18 Hornet in Iraqui Air Force Markings
-He-162 Unlimited Racer
-HIND given the Skycrane treatment
-A380 AWACS
-A380 Tanker

-Stealth Carrier from an Italeri Nimitz class kit
-JMSDF YAMATO circa Desert Storm

Well????

What can I say.....

F4U-1D in Pink uppersurfaces, USMC on a desert island.
Various biplanes...Camel, Hawks I & II, Curtiss Seaplane Racer and Fokker VII all underway and nearing completion
F-16D "Big Spine" in RAF colours
F9F-5 Panther in RAF colours
Typhoon Ib in Soviet colours

These are the ones nearing completion.

My AFV stuff I am finishing :

Upgraded Centurion with 100mm gun
Updated Crusader III (one of my favourite tanks)
SPG Centurion using 122mm soviet gun (in storage, finish later this year)

when I get my stuff out of storage and get my castle (I am English) I can show pictures of:

105mm SPG based on Airfix Chi Ha tank chassis
Crusader III AA conversion using high angle 75mm gun

Ships:

1970s update of the KGV class battleships
1970s update of the Tiger class cruiser (Neptune and Bellerphoron(?) and a couple of others were never built, so lots of scope to increase the class size)
1970s pdate of the Daring class destroyers
1980s update of the County class destroyers (Airfix Devonshire etc.)

Aircraft

Strike version of the Sea Vixen
Canberra B(I)8 with targetting pods, ECM etc.
Javelin recce version
Meteor NF14 ECM version
B29 1970s (yes, what a decade that was!) updated version
Various ECM/recce/strike versions of the B26 (Invader)

... and loads of stuff I have yet to crystallise out of my thoughts, but you lot have given me the inspiration for.

Yes, but even more true to the original DC-3 airframe.
And, believe it or not, I'll be butchering up a big 1:48 Monogram DC-3 (with parts from a B-17) for this.

After my land dreadnaught is completed it'll be my four engined He-111

Then it's my Vietnam era douglas sky shark.

I then have a few Sci-Fi projects to get started.

Currently finishing up #5 for the Airfix GB...a 1/72 Devastator re-engined with an inline, underwing cannon pods, reworked canopy, and of course, SPATS!

In queue:

1/72 Corsair biplane (using leftvover Stuka wings)

1/72 Boeing 247 bomber either as trimotor or with noseglazing and gun turret

1/72 Fokker D.XXI re-engined with an inline

1/72 CR-42 Falco biplane re-engined with inline from D.520 and enclosed canopy

1/72 Su-5 for Vac GB

At some point I have plans to kitbash Nungesser & Coli's ill-fated Levasseur PL.8 Oiseau Blanc from spare parts.

I've got lots more projects in the wings (the SPAD Triplane and W.W. I version of a P-38 made from a DH-2) but I think I'll be doing well to finish the ones listed before the end of the year.

currently in the development stage is a fast cropdusting aircraft for dusting large fields up to 500 miles away from the nearest airport.

therefor i am currently planing to convert a supersonic fighterjet into a "Fast Duster".

for the development i have already made a rough sketch for a converted SU-25.
as seen on the image below, it includes lots of external modifications.
note that this aircraft will only be a testbed, for the supersonic version i am looking into the Mig-29, F-16, F-18, Jaguar, F-14,.....

and if there are no field to dust, they can also be used as water bomber in case of forest fires  B)

Right now I'm trying to figure out how a Euro-consortium would go about making a a subsonic close air support plane(like the Su-25 and A-10), and how I could possibly make one out of plastic.

When I eventually finish the 8 UK Vigilantes I'm currently working on ( whiff history of UK Vigilante bombers and interceptors ) I've got the following planned:

RAF & FAA Gnat fighters
RAF & FAA Hawk fighters
Various Tigersharks ( F-20B trainer, possibly Red Arrows, RF-20A recon bird )
ECM Canberra

May also do something for the dead parrot GB ( if one of the above doesn't qualify )

And here I thought I was the only one!

An exhaustive list of mine would include:

- All sorts of A-4s from the FAA, RAF, SAAF, RCN, RDAF, HAF and JASDF (maybe)

- Modified Tornado F.3s from USAF (Beagle/Weasel alike), JASDF, SAAF, IDF/AF

- Tornado GR.4 CAF, Peru, Equador or Argentinia

- F-14s from JASDF and either the CAF, IDF/AF or HAF

- F-16s from JASDF, CAF, SAAF, RAF, RNZAF

- Various F-4s (E/J/C/D/G) from SAAF, Brazil, Argentinia, CAF, RNZAF, some other African country from one of Gekko1's (Richard) African Phantoms profiles.

- Jaguars from SAAF, JASDF, USAF, RAAF, RNZAF and HAF (maybe)

- AD-5E Skyraider (built from the 1/48 Matchbox kit) for the JASDF

- RE-26K Elint/recon Invader (built from the 1/48 Monogram kit)

- PE-26L (based off the A-26 Invader) RNZAF (maybe) Maritime patrol plane

- P-47N of the ROKAF in Korea

- A trio of Sea Furies in US service from Korea to Vietnam in USN and USAF markings (All over dark sea blue, gull grey over white and finally SEA over black)

And a few more

I've only got one on the go:

A twin FW-190 D-9, with one side being the cockpit, the other side holding multiple cannons in a Schraege Muzik installation.

It will be a "Wilde Sau" type aircraft - a single seat night fighter.

It will have a small radar pod on the centerline, droptanks on the outer wings, and tailplanes on the outside, not inside like the F-82.

I'm making a new center wing, and I have worries about the aircraft's track.
