I usually look at the average price online for something I'm selling under the table, then take a bit off. Unless its at a stupid price online (I'm looking at you Scimitar), and then I price it down at a more normal level, but still slightly over an average kit's price.

I really should try and get to the Bolton Show one year, as I never have so far.

Mind you, as it's directly after the Festive Season, and I always feel even more ancient then anyway, the chance is fairly remote, and getting remoter as time goes on.  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

First trip and it was an impressive show. So well done Bolton IPMS

Didn't buy anything other than some paint markers as didn't want to cart stuff all over the North with me.

I don't think he was at Telford either ?

Yes he was, he was in the bottom corner of out hall next to Blackbird Models.

Speaking of which I don't think Glen was there either, but i know he had some health issues before xmas, so understandable.

What was intersting is some of the long standing traders at Bolton, Paul Davies, Blackbird were not there, but over the years we have lost Littlecars, Halifax Modeller World and Kit Krazy. However the show was still full, with plenty of new traders and most seemed to pretty busy.
Having been directly involved in the show in previous years, when i was a member of the club, i know the effort and focus the club puts into the show, so glad to see it thriving as its always a risk with the weather at this time of year.

I was in ModelsForSale's office today, and happened upon the boss man there, and he was mighty pleased with their business at Bolton.

He said everywhere you looked there were people carrying their bags.  ;D

I think Vince is usually happy with their sales, as whatever show they go to, they seem to sell at least half of the stock.  Telford saw them nigh on cleaned out.

My single most expensive bag came from there.

Yeah I bought something from them. Can't remember what though, but it gave a handy bag to stick everything in!
